What a wonderful place to go to enjoy an evening of beautiful food, drinks and atmosphere. The branzino is the best in the city and the food is consistently great year after year. Can't wait for next time.
The food was just okay and not what I remembered from my time living in Los Angeles, years ago. I had the most mediocre Cobb Salad of my life last weekend. The complimentary scones were wonderful and my dining partner's huevos rancheros got decent reviews. Service was attentive and pro. Ambiance was spectacular. But the food...it just did not connect like the Robertson Blvd location, sorry to report. The Ivy At The Shore felt like it was resting on laurels and has decided...
The restaurant is beautiful and the patio is great for people watching. The food is fabulous, however, drinks were expensive! My dbl shot Vodka was $41!! Service was very slow, to get our first drink was almost 1/2 hr.
