Every time I serve someone a slice of Jyan Issac's Seeded Sourdough, they have invariably commented about the amazing combination of seeds. It's a truly magic formula, and toasts beautifully. It is my favorite bread in the city. Occasionally, I also get their indulgently wonderful croissant loaf too! I do wish they were still able to slice the loaves on the spot to save me the hassle. But, I understand that it has something to do with city permits.
I have been wanting to try this spot for quite some time because I have only heard great things about their bagel and bakery options. This little stretch of restaurants can get very busy, especially on weekends, so parking can be a bit of a challenge during the busy times. We were able to find a free spot in neighborhood behind the restaurant about a half block away so we got lucky, but also came early.
