got their cookie and cream matcha with the famous coconut cloud topping .. unfortunately it wasn’t very good at all. it was overwhelming with topping, and their matcha was quite weak. i appreciate the non dairy option though.

Place very pretty prices very high for the mediocre sweets and coffee
Staff very rude I won’t mention the name of the girls who gives people attitude

Over heated pastry, cannot steam oat milk and shorted the milk in the cup.

1st time in here, it was a cute coffee shop
They have merchandise you can purchase like t-shirts, sweat pants/shirts, coffee mugs, and candles. The esthetic of this place was plain but cute, pretty fast service and friendly staff. Also a pretty good selection of drinks, baked goods etc... The parking is a bit difficult being in a busy street. You can choose to eat or drink inside or outside the grave tables & chairs or couch like benches as well.

The place was very nice and impeccable, I loved that everything is yellow and white, the place was full as soon as we reached a table.

What I asked for was:
La La Land Dream Toast $13.90 usd
The Hazelnut Toast $11.40 usd
Upside Down Latte $7.30 usd
Cookies’n Dream Latte $7.40 usd

The presentation of the hazelnut toast (strawberry with banana) was sloppy, the strawberry was poorly cut and the ingredients were not well aligned 🙄

The young man that’s always at the register mid day…. He could afford to smile more! And not look so absolutely annoyed when people are trying to interpret the slightly more unique menu items in a shop like this. Otherwise, I love breaking up my work week working from here and people watching !

This place has gotten way too popular. Good for the business not so good for service.

Got my Americano quickly. Waited 20 mins for my cappuccino afterwards while people that came after we got their coffee first.

Asked the barista, she said it’s coming up. 15 mins later. Still no cappuccino.

Ordered at 11:45 got the cappuccino at 12:04

Time to go somewhere else.

Not that it should matter to the business.

The staff used to be super friendly and attentive when picking up my orders but lately and again today, the lady who assisted me didn’t even acknowledge me nor say a word for the entire experience. The staff seem unfriendly and not in the mood to be there. However the food & drinks are always amazing here. Just miss the old Lala experience.

ive never had a nice barista here. ive been getting the iced cappucinos and they always give the little cappucino cloud. one day they stopped the lady very rudely told me they never did it. now i order it extra im Ok with that. i ordered it extra today and didnt get it. i asked the lady for it and she hands me a cup of cream. i was a bit upset and asked her to remake it for me and she opens my cup and dumps the cream into the cup. im just shocked at how 1. inconsistent this place is and 2. how rude the baristas are always to me. i get it youre stressed and unhappy you work here but i really get high school flashbacks of how catty and and horrible the baristas are. idk the women taking orders are always nice. it just makes me sad to come here. pictured: same order three times. only one ever came out the right way :(

Love this place! I always feel welcomed and that not all that common in Los Angeles coffee shops. One of the baristas, Camille, let me try some of their matcha before ordering as I wasn’t sure about it and I was so grateful for that. Now I always order a la la matcha when I’m in town :)

Staff has serious attitude …

Walked into cafe at 6.50am - no customer present - to pick up an order

First staff member couldn’t be bother to talk to me as he was talking to staff member #2 and pointed out that staff member #3 was in charge of pick ups.

Staff #3 listening to music on her earphones, took a while to react. Told her cappuccino didn’t have a lot of milk and asked her to top up - flatly refused - mumbling something about not having right cup size.

Pathetic …
