Great food and great service (Andrew our waiter was phenomenal). Truly enjoyed the meal. A great addition to Main Street. Vegetarian options were great. Enjoyed the ice cream for dessert as well. Will be back for sure.

Girls night or intimate dinner date, there is no better spot in SM! You’ll regret not getting the bread and butter AND the octopus. Owner is usually on site, staff is so friendly and willing to explain the amazing natural wine menu. Will never stop coming here!

Came here on a date. We sat at the counter and shared our orders (as the restaurant recommends). Some of what we ordered was just "good" but two things were really, really fabulous: The scallops and the bread and butter. (yes yes really the bread! I know some people dont like paying for bread at dinner but this isnt a loaf from the supermarket they chopped up and charged you for, this is The Good Stuff, and you are paying for the labour that went into it) What stood out across everything we ordered (even the dishes that we didnt personally like quite as much) was creativity in concept and quality of execution. The obvious skill and passion behind the menu makes me want to come back in a few months and try their menu some other time during the year... or maybe pop in for brunch! Sitting at the counter is fabulous, espescially on a slightly chilly day. The wood burning stove behind the counter is comforting and beautiful--plus we spoke briefly with the chef working behind the counter, who was friendly. Ive seen some reviews complaining about the service... Having visited, Im guessing those people didnt arrive planning to have a share-plates experience and were just confused? The staff were friendly, accomodating, and helpful.

Little prince has a good energy and is an amazing spot for brunch on the west side. They don’t just serve fresh orange juice, but add an extra oomph like turmeric. It gave the mimosas a little tang. The soft scramble is perfection. Street parking available.

Funky dining option in a great location! Every menu item is unique, and the wine list was very eclectic-- I can guarantee you'll discover a new varietal or vintage you've never tried! Service was excellent as well and our server had plenty of suggestions for ordering.

Little Prince is one of the restaurants located on Main Street in Santa Monica which was on my list. Last week while in the area, I was excited to dine here, because the name 'little Prince,' reminded Me of the wonderful book with the same title written by french author: ANTOINE DE SAINT-EXUPÉRY. The book offers the reader Life Lessons. However, my excitement immediately fizzled when the staffer/host was deliberately rude and unprofessional. He saw Me standing outside waiting to be seated outside and made no acknowledgment. I asked for a paper menu and he dismissively says they had none and walks inside the restaurant. I follow and walk inside the restaurant hoping for better service from another staffer, but there was nobody else. I was in disbelief at how flagrant and so unprofessional this person was behaving. It was a good thing I had my iPhone on vidi mode, for a quick look of the interior and of that horrible person who then pretends to be on a call rather than offer to seat a customer, caught on video! When my first impression of Little Prince is of this diminutive staffer who was unprofessional and obviously has issues being kind to customers, I would not, could not be bothered to give them my time or my business. The restaurant logo pictures a giraffe, which is so ironic because this staffer refuse to 'stick his neck out' to play nice. I have no idea why this staffer was NOT nice, there's No Excuse, but who wants to deal with an UNprofessional UNprincely attitude. This rude person and the restaurant that hire a miserable person can learn from the book the Little Prince and the Life Lessons...bad unprofessional service will result in business failure and demise. Hard Pass, I do NOT recommend this little prince! I walked a few doors down to Manchego where I wined and dined and my furbaby angel and I were treated like deux petit princesses!!

Octopus and patty melt were over-salted. Rabbit sausage and marrow was - meh. Felt overpriced.

Cozy atmosphere - loved the open fire cooking spot in the back of the restaurant. I didn't have time to look through their wine selection but it seemed to be well curated. The menu wasn't terribly large but everything our table ordered (for breakfast) was delicious.

Had a great time with the early dinner and drink menu at Little Prince. This is a great place to relax on Main Street in Santa Monica. When you visit Santa Monica it's made up of several districts and walk streets. Main Street is the older section of the city and contains a heritage museum and dozens of bars and restaurants. It's also at sea level and not overlooking the bluffs or the palisades. It's traditionally full of more locals from the surrounding apartments sandwiched between the beach and Lincoln. There was a large pier and amusement park located on Ocean Park that has since been torn down. The neighborhood reflects the farm to table menu and style. My favorite item on the menu is the patty melt. It's only rival is Top Chefs Brooke Williams Melt at Playa Provisions. I think this dish and the cocktails are a winning combination. We also enjoyed the Salmon Tartine and the mushrooms. The service, music selection and atmosphere was perfect. This is the perfect restaurant to unwind and enjoy the evening. I'm looking forward to returning soon.

Love this place! Food is creative and yummy. How do they make plain, simple bread & butter so delicious? We also loved the octopus and patty melt and Caesar salad. Service was excellent all contributing to a wonderful evening. I'll return every time I'm in LA from SF!

Mark, while hosting, went above and beyond for my guest and I. Though the restaurant was booked up, he made sure to get us at the chefs counter per my request. He checked on us throughout the meal to make sure everything was delicious. His genuineness and superior care made us feel super special. We will make a point to only visit when we can work with Mark. Dinner was delicious. We ordered the gem salad, scallops, and wagyu steak. I'd order everything again. I am genuinely excited to try more on my next visit. Bring a jacket if you are dining inside, the restaurant is a bit chilly. Sit inside to get the full experience
