Had the pleasure of dining at LouLou Rooftop Restaurant & Lounge in Santa Monica and really enjoyed the experience. The space is absolutely beautiful with a fun Tulum-inspired vibe. I can only imagine how stunning it becomes later in the evening when the sun goes down and all the lights come on, it seems like the kind of place that completely transforms at night.

What stood out most was the teamwork among the staff. Everyone was helping each other, which...

Cute place overall, but I had an unpleasant experience at the bar. I ordered a simple glass of white wine, and the waitress standing right there handed me the payment terminal. The price already seemed high, and she still prompted me to add a tip without mentioning that a 20% gratuity had already been included. I only realized after asking. I’m happy to tip for good service, but I value transparency and dislike feeling misled.

I can see the vision I just needed more non pork options. And NO DRINKS are included in the $55-65 brunch. If you're a couple its only the tiny table for 2 but the young lady did adjust for us so that was appreciated. All and all its about the ambiance not so much the food. Cute place for girls brunch. I left but I'll try again another day, hopefully its more meat besides PORK (My husband is Muslim so its a no go if he can't enjoy)
