Service is good ,place is very small , super dark , we couldn’t even read the menu, Tapas portions are very small . No a lot of main dishes to order , so if you are hungry, no good , lots of small appetizers.
Parking not easy.

Been coming here for years and it is always a great experience. Everything on the menu is delicious and consistent. Ambiance and service is always great as well. Very underrated spot but I’ll take it because I can usually get a last minute reservation, yet the place is always full with locals.

Unacceptable handling of an incident: A guest at the table next to us accidentally spilled red wine onto my feet and shoes. When I moved my leg to avoid getting more wine on me, the guest became verbally abusive and used offensive language to humiliate me.

What disappointed me most was that no staff checked on me, offered help, or even acknowledged what happened — especially since the restaurant wasn’t busy at the time. This was the WORST dining experience I’ve had, and I would never go to this place again.

For the price point and style of the restaurant, service is lacking. The bussers kept the table clean and our water glasses full, but it was hard to get a check, and in spite of us saying we wanted to order more dishes, all of our food had come to the table, we ate it all, then we had to wave the host down to order more. Our server was nice, but he just wasn’t around much. The food is good, but nothing really blew me away. The atmosphere is nice, but for a restaurant of this style and price point, I expect more attentive service and just overall attention to detail. If I’m in this part of the city, I’d consider coming back for happy hour again, which has some good deals. It’s worth checking out. I wanted to love this place because it has a lot of potential, but it just doesn’t quite deliver in my opinion.

My wife and I really wanted to give this place a great review but sadly I can not. I give this 1 star because I was having dinner in here last week for the first time. I had heard great things. However the service was beyond horrible. First off our Server, Osti who had mentioned to someone else ( I overheard that she was the owner’s niece ) Initially I thought we would be getting excellent service then. She seemed very flustered throughout the time she spent taking our orders and almost angry as well. It seemed she was training a nice gentleman to also be a server, as she pointed out he would occasionally be listening in on our order under her direction, for his training. I felt terrible for this person training because she spoke to him in such an unbelievably cruel way, multiple times throughout our order. She even made eye contact with me and rolled her eyes and said “sorry” because she thought he wasn’t putting our food order into the hand held machine thing they hold, quick enough. I thought this gentleman was doing fine, clearly on his first day learning a new job, and was much more polite and pleasant to be around than she was. He could also see her rolling her eyes and speaking negatively about him but unlike her, he maintained a professional and polite demeanor. It made me and my wife very uncomfortable to see the way she treated this new hire. Constantly telling him things, then looking at us, or other employees and rolling her eyes and trying to express her dismay or frustration to this new hire. It was very petty and sad to witness ( the owner’s niece ) portray this restaurant in such negative and distasteful way. Me and my wife will not be returning again. I’ve never felt so uncomfortable witnessing a waitress basically bully her coworker the entire meal. Besides all that her attitude was very rushed, she didn’t take time to listen to me or my wife. We actually had a great conversation with the gentleman she was training when she had left. I would have preferred him to be our waiter. I am not someone who usually leaves reviews but this needed to be said. Do better Manchego!

First, but not LAST, timer to Manchego. Restaurant was firing on all 8 cylinders! Hospitality was tops and at fair price for super quality eating experience. Vibe was cool and our waitress, the kitchen, and all staff were on point. Birthday celebration that was very memorable and made possible when we took a chance with Manchego. Con mucho gusto! Nosotros volveremos!

I am a neighborhood regular who loves this spot!!! The food is amazingly authentic and the server Hasti is the best - so warm, friendly, & kind, and this kind of experience is part of the reason I keep coming back!! Feels like family & like I’m right back in Spain which I miss so much!! 10/10

Finding authentic Spanish tapas in LA can be a little hard, so it was a delight to come across this gem on Main Street. Simple, elegant, all the traditional Mediterranean feels from the atmosphere to the cuisine, calibrated for local tastes. What made it really special was the friendly and efficient staff.

Each tapas dish is better than the previous one. Great service and great food. You can't ask for better than that

Amazing food and service. Loved the music, just a bit loud at times. I would highly recommend the meatballs and deviled eggs.

I am not a big fan of Spanish cuisine. I know it’s delicious to others, however I don’t like seafood and don’t eat pork. Which is why I don’t choose Spanish cuisine as my top. For this occasion it was a friend of a friend’s birthday.
Manchego was absolutely beyond delicious, the beef short ribs were unbelievable. Their Patatas Bravas with Aioli were delectable. Beets salad was one of the best I’ve ever tried, full of amazing flavors all in one dish. Something simple yet delicious was the olive, covered with smoked paprika. Little did I know I was going to find out about my new favorite wine. I’ve always love albariño. Although Eduardo Peña blow my mind. A must try!
I highly recommend this restaurant. Not to mentioned the friendly attentive service.

This is our 4th time here. The food that is always on the menu tends to be better than the new additions. Had a reservation but weren't seated until 30+ minutes after (there's a table that they thought to be opened up soon having paid, but then the party didn't leave entire time we were waiting). Complimentary sangria was provided but it tested our patience quite a bit...

The service was excellent from the moment we checked-in. The food was delicious as always!
