Bacon wrapped dates and Mac and cheese was good. Everything else was kinda meh. Good spot for snacks and wine on a date night though.

I'm a European so I'll be biased but came here for lunch one Sunday. It's an unassuming restaurant but not in a good way.
Food was sub par and the prices were pretty steep. It's LA, it's Santa Monica, it's Main Street, I get it. I work right next to this place and I still wouldn't go again. Bang average Spanish tapas with no flair.
One of the main problems - the Spanish omelette is supposed to be slightly runny inside, soft and decadent. It ended up feeling like I was eating a microwaved sponge.
I'd rather buy all the ingredients at a local market, pay more for them and eat at home.

This place has a lot of great recommendations, but I don’t think the food is worth the price. By far the best fish we had was the lamb meatballs but the other dishes like the cod, deviled eggs, and mac n cheese missed the mark.

Food was incredible! I’d walked past this place plenty of times before going in, and I wish I’d gone sooner! Had the empanadas, beet & burrata, short ribs & polenta, goat cheese & fig tostatos, flan & tiramisu!! Everything was phenomenal. Our server, David, was super nice & friendly! Can’t wait to come back & try more off the menu!!

Very friendly staff, but service quality can be improved. Our order was mixed with another table, dirty plates were not changed before the main course. Tables were too small for tapas, where you usually order few of them at the same time. Service speed was very fast.
Love this place. My favorite tapas/wine in all of Los Angeles. Great happy hour too and the house wine (red/white Rioja) is so good. Have been coming here for years, since they opened more than 10 years ago...
The food and service at Manchego was ecellent! The htree of us shared four tapes dishes and loved every one. No left the table hungry or overly full and we shared a dessert as well. The "patio" is the co-opted sidewalk in front which was fine for people watching but not too private for dining. The prices were good as well.
Waited 45 mins past our reservation for a table, then waited another 20 mins before waiter came over, then the waiter suggested we were rude for wanting the table!?

Melvin was the star of the show! He provided excellent and courteous service with a smile. We all enjoyed our food in particular the meat and cheese plate, goat cheese tostadas, mac and cheese with bacon, short ribs and churros for dessert. Thank you Manchego for the pleasant experience.

Got seated with our reservation right away and were given a table as requested in our reservation. Tried 6 great small plates filled with flavor and delicious sauce accompaniments. Very attentive staff that had good knowledge of the menu. Good selection of spanish wines to go with the tapas and a small but well portioned and perfectly sweet desert selection.
Outstanding everything
