Was hoping to sit down for an early dinner but unfortunately they are only doing takeout for now. The staff is very nice and friendly. Ordered the Hot and Sour Soup and a Shrimp Fried Rice to go. The soup was excellent with a nice kick and the large was plenty for two people. 5 Stars for the Hot and Sour! The crispy won ton strips that came with it were a nice addition. The fried rice was good. It had egg which we like. Ordered it without the green onions (scallions) which I hate. Give it only a 3 of 5 stars since it contains no vegetables, not even peas and carrots. It was good and the shrimp was plump. I'd order again if I can get them to add some vegetables to it (I'll pay extra). This was our first time there and I would recommend if you're looking for a reasonably priced Chinese takeout experience.

Five star Chinese in Santa Monica. Has been my favorite Chinese for 15 years - wife and I eat from there all the time and I recommend to everyone. My latest favorites are sweet-and-sour chicken vegetable lo mein the eggrolls and beef lo mein everything is good Super great value incredibly fast delivery. Extremely friendly staff can always go by and pick up as well. Yum Yum Yum Chinese food in my tummy. I'll add some photos when it arrives.

We walked here to eat at around 8pm and the are still open up to 10pm. The service is really good, but due to understaff issue, they only have take out and delivery. No dine in available here for the time being. The food preparation is fast and the portion is generous, the flavor is just right. We like it spicy, but it is a bit too mild for us. Next time we will inform them in advance. For the price, portion and service, they are really good. Soft spoken cashier girl and fast finish of the food, it is one of the best options here. We will definitely come back again. By the way, the packing is also very nice. They make sure the food is full and no room left. That is very nice for customers, especially the first time. We love the food.

Not sure why this place has 3 stars! It is exactly what you think you would get from an inexpensive Chinese take out. If you are into black bean sauce, this was one of my favourites.

We used to love this place. It's really gotten spotty. Last night I paid for a large rice and got a small a rice. The Mongolian chicken was all onions and just a few pieces of chicken, and the sauce -- thin and runny. And the sweet & sour pork was so tough we could barely chew it. Such a shame this has gone so downhill.

We thought we were coming to an expensive Chinese delicious place but we were completely wrong about the delicious part. We had got the 4 Piece Vegetable Egg Rolls and it was amazing, Crispy Walnut Shrimp was a 2/5, and Orange Chicken, and Chicken Fried Rice were gross. I and my boyfriend couldn't finish it and Thank God we didn't eat it all because the very next day we both felt horrible. Wouldn't recommend it at all. Save your money.

Fresh and hot, not too heavy and very tasty. I highly recommend ordering the fish fillet in bean sauce and any of the shrimp options of rice or noodles, great appetizers as well.

Ordered lunch for delivery. Credit card charged. Food never arrived. Mandarin did not answer phone. Drove to restaurant. Note on locked doors: CLOSED ON TUESDAYS. Thanks for letting us order online, for charging us, for starving us...on a day you are closed!
