Tuesday early evening dinner was nice and quiet. Perfect time for Sunset! Great service and food! OMG the bread is amazing! Seating Bass and USDA Filet delicious and cooked perfectly!

Wonderful dinner with work colleagues. Comfortable seating on banquet at front of restaurant on Ocean. Amazing sunset view. Able to hear everyone at table. Excellent drinks. Perfectly prepared steaks. Yum. Will be back!

My poor experience was with the loud noice of patrons that go into a fine dining and watch sports. Then proceeded to clap and hauler as if they were at home. It would have been appropriate for the staff to encourage patrons not to clap or hauler as it made conversation difficult to hear.

Great spot, but the steak was underwhelming. This was a last minute find on recommendation by staff at The Getty. I wanted a nice steakhouse that didn't require attire that was too fancy so my wife and I could celebrate our anniversary. This was a perfect fit for that criteria. Overall the food was very good, BUT the most important item (the titular MEAT) was not tender and charred. The open flame cooking (presumably) left my and my wife's steak with uneven cooking. I had the 45 day aged bone in ribeye that was pretty thin and way more chewy than any ribeye I've had. The same went for my wife's 8oz USDA prime filet mignon. With how good everything else was, the steak stood in stark contrast. I've seriously had much better at Outback. I'd come back for the salads, bread, wine, and sauces, but not for the steak.

We were in the LA area for Thanksgiving visiting our son at USC. We chose Meat on Ocean for our Thanksgiving Diner based on reviews and we wanted to be near the beach. What a great choice this was. When my family arrived, we were blown away by the atmosphere. They had an option for a turkey dinner that sounded great, but we could not pass on the steaks (another great choice). Steaks, oysters and drinks, all amazing. Also, the waiter was able to get me a side of stuffing to make it an official Thanksgiving dinner.

This is my favorite stake spot. If only customer support would have been improved i would have gave 5. Most of the time steaks are great but sometimes it hit and miss
