I wouldn't even call this bagel mid. This is one of the worst bagels I've ever had. It was soooo dry. We asked for them toasted with cream cheese and they didn't even toast it. What kind of clown show are they running over there.

Walked in at 7 am to get 5 dozen bagels and cream cheese. Bagels were warm. Our faculty and staff enjoyed them.

I LOVE New York Bagel primarily becuase, although it is called New York Bagel, most of the employees there do NOT have the NY attitude that makes the competing establishment a bit further to the east my least favorite bagel nosh in LA. New York Bagel offers fresh and delicious bagels, a decent selection of breakfast and lunch sandwiches, and, most importantly to me, they are generally pleasant, acknowledge your presence, smile, and generally do customer service like Californians and not New Yorkers which is to say, not only will you get a delicious bagel but also feel like you are not having your food prepared by a person who really hates that you exist. Thanks NY Bagel. Love you guys :)

Delicious, fresh bagels. They also put cream cheese on both sides, which every shop should do! Loved my lox sandwich on a jalapeño cheddar bagel. They were quick and attentive. Also very affordable for LA!Will certainly visit again!

Lowkey, quick stop fave for takeout bagels or sandwiches. We eat here in a pinch but it's just a few tables in the rear. The tuna sandwich is heaven and as a New Yorker forever, the bagels ( and definitely the bialys) are worth a trip from the S.F. Valley. They're the closest to home I've found❤️?

I grabbed a half dozen bagels for the house and have only had the plain and pumpernickel - they are both wonderful. Like any good bagel they store nicely in a paper bag inside your bread box. Like any good bagel they are quite a bit better the first day than hey are the second. The bagels are fantastic. Slightly less chewy than my favorite place in town, which is completely about personal preference. My family likes these more than the other.I also grabbed a cream cheese and tomato sandwich. Unfortunately this reeked of Santa Monica and not of Brooklyn. The cream cheese was applied to one side only and was about a tablespoon’s worth. I’m gonna try this place again and assume that it was the kid’s first day there - I didn’t take a photo. Hopefully I’ll be changing this to a five star review when I go in and they don’t serve me like I’m on some weird diet.

2 things before considering this place. Patience & money. It'll be worth it in the end. I loved that one of the guys kept yelling out "Thank you for your patience" acknowledging the fact it's going to take a minute to take your order. The line can get long if you're not early enough but that's where you better have patience. Because you can't be upset that these employees are serving the best & delicious bagels ever! I wish they had an updated menu on Yelp because I didn't know about the baked salmon bagel sandwich. My mind was set on the breakfast sammy so I'm uploading the latest breakfast menu with prices. Don't forget to be specific about your bagel being toasted because If I had not said anything, I'd probably be upset if it wasn't toasted Lastly money, you're going to want to buy 1 of each bagel & their variety of cream cheeses. While I was only getting the breakfast combo, I wish I got a bagel & cream cheese to go. Price means nothing to me especially when it comes to bagels & cream cheese. I will definitely be back for the Lox bagel with smoked salmon when I'm not pregnant. Lol.

Bagels are absolutely delicious! They are NY style! The breakfast sandwich are so delicious! If you want estar cheese or bacon, you can have it if you ask for it, they will charge a few cents more, but it is with it!The white fish and lox are my favorite for lunch. This place has nice music in the background, and the staff works hard. So do not be upset if you have to wait a little sometimes, they have a line out the door, they are so good!

Being born in NY ( although I live In Chicago for the past 10 years ) I had to try this place and it didn't disappoint. Fresh lox bagel with cream cheese , very NY style . Brought me back to being a kid back home , definitely a good feeling . Had fresh orange juice too , service was fast and friendly .

The most awesome bagel outside of NYC. Try the salmon and cream cheese bagel.

I found the elusive Bialy! A Bialy is not a bagel; but you find them in bagel shops. Bialys have a chewy inside that looks like puffy clouds with the slightest nod to a crusty outside and topped with onions. They are actually made slightly differently than bagels and it makes all the difference. I've only known one other bagel shop that did a proper Bialy and that was in Rockford, Illinois.(Beware of the imposter Bialy that is just a bagel.)This one is perfect and I'm told the owner is from Brooklyn so he knows the secret. Go! Eat! Yum!
