Incredibly great bar, hope to come back as much as i can.The thing that stands out is the creativity on the menu. Plus the obvious passion and dedication from the staff.The drinks are expensive. But listen, taken as a whole this was the best cocktail menu i have ever had the pleasure to sample from. Every drink was good, every drink was different, and virtually every drink was something id really never experienced before.

I wanted to love this place. It's super cute! they have a nice outdoor space and a really neat 90s nostalgic mural in the back of the bar. I liked that they had a mix of couches and bar stools. Their drinks have a childhood flair to them (a drink reminiscent of otter pops and another of cereal milk). However, what I ordered -- "Where in the World" -- was waaaay too sweet. Perhaps I should have asked the bartender which drinks aren't as sweet, because I'm partial to drinks that aren't cloyingly sweet and syrupy. They have an extensive menu with some interesting options. I couldn't figure out whether or not they served food there. They had a fridge with dried meats, but they didn't seem to have a food menu. If you are looking for a low-key spot with plenty of space and cute vibes, this is a great choice! I'd recommend asking the bartender question about the cocktails before ordering (and maybe asking them to make a recommendation based on your preference, especially if you don't like sweet cocktails).

Yes! Talk about nostalgic af! We loved the interior of this bar and were bummed to find out they no longer serve food. We stayed for a couple of drinks and they had the nicest staff behind the bar.Will be back!

Awesome new spot! Phenomenal drinks with a super friendly and helpful staff. Lots of games at every table, including a cool outside area with giant jenga. Will definitely return.

I was disappointed to find that their kitchen is closed for apparently the next month.Solid cocktail. The interior of the place has a sort of weird, grungy vibe; not very cozy. The staff seemed a bit unfriendly.

The best bar in Santa Monica! They make such high quality and creative drinks (I'm pretty certain their bartenders are mixologists). The whole place is set up so cozy and fun inviting while having so much space inside and outside to do your own thing with your own group. But the thing that really solidified my experience was that the staff and bartenders there are so sweet and approachable. I had a small incident when I was sitting at the bar and all the staff immediately came over to help me and comfort me. What amazing people!!! I will definitely come back the next I'm in Santa Monica again.

The burger was very good, animal fries a bit overcooked, drinks taste good but a little too pricy for me. Cocktail almost $20 each. Service is great too. The atmosphere is nice for friends meet up.

Absolutely love this place! Went for the 2nd time last night. Cocktails do not disappoint. The creativity is top notch and the staff is a class act!
I recommend getting the Dealer's choice the bartender will ask you what you like and make you a custom cocktail and then write it down on a card so you can recreate it later

Wow - this bar surprised me! I saw it was one of the top bars on Yelp in my area and decided to drop in and check it out. It looked dead from the outside so I started questioning my choice but as the night progressed I understood why this place was so highly rated! I ordered a drink and next thing I knew there was a contraption in front me and they informed me my drink was smoked?! What?! Lol. I was not expecting it but it was such a fun surprise. In addition to the fun drinks, the bartenders were Uber friendly - one offered us water when we let him know we didn't want anymore cocktails. I thought that was really kind and thoughtful of them. If you're looking for a lowkey bar with fun gimmicks and games to hang out and catch up with some friends this is the place for you.
Nostalgia Bar is fantastic! I love the ambiance and the drinks. I was sad to find out that the kitchen closed. This is a great place to start or end your night here. I will come back again soon.

It was advertised online and on their website as a place to eat infused food or drinks, but that was not the case. That's the whole reason we made a trip to Santa Monica. We didn't get our menus for a time, and the waiter would walk by often without checking on us. The ambiance is great, the artwork is amazing, but the actual service, food and drinks were okay. Wish I had called beforehand to confirm if they actually had what they're supposedly branded for in the cannabis online world.
