Orla did not disappoint! Based on my experience at Mother Tongue and … by Michael Mina restaurant has earned a I will 100% try it and trust it to be excellent. As I said Orla lives up, from the views to the impeccable service, this place could get a pass on a miss on a food item. We went for Thanksgiving so it was a different menu than usual, and honestly all the items were spectacular, except the Turkey that only one person got, so I’ll overlook that slightly dry Turkey and still go with a must visit on this one. Price points are high, but this is in a Regent and the atmosphere and service can warrant the price tag. Treat yourself!!! Michael Mina has delivered once again.

Went for dinner with a couple of friends and were blown away by the service of the staff and the food itself. Everything we had, from mezze items to our entrees had their preparation very well executed and as fresh as could be. We would recommend getting one of the fresh catches of the day!

I've tried almost every Michelin-Starred and Bib Gourmand restaurants in Los Angeles along the Jonathan Gold 100s list (rip Gold) in the past 10 years. Tried some of the best restaurants around the world and I can say this is without a doubt:
Orla is one of the best restaurants I've ever had the chance to eat at.
The service was impeccable, the atmosphere was lovely, but the food, the food was out of this world.
Each and every single dish, dessert, and cocktail amazed us.
Michael Mina outdid himself with this one and I'd be surprised if this doesn't get a Michelin star or two.
Thank You!

This was actually one of the better meals I’ve had in a while, but after spending over $250 for two people on dinner, my valet was actually $37. I will never be coming back on principle alone….

Great high-end Mediterranean dinner. Loved the hummus, Greek salad, the Macaroni Bechamel, and the lamb kebab with saffron rice. Beautiful space.

Definitely will never eat there again. Beautiful ambiance but horrible and rude service. The food was mediocre and not worth the price. This will change names sooner than later. It's too bad as it is such a nice space; Nobody ever asked us how our food was or if we wanted more water or drinks. Only saw our waiter 2x, when he took our drinks and food orders and then the check. For a first night of business at a so called fancy restaurant nobody even greeted us. Told me we couldn't sit at 2 tables as for larger parties which was a lie as they sat at another party of 2 and the other tables were empty the entire time. Felt like I was eating at the Marriott, not what we expected. Complete waste of money and we are use to eating very well.

Orla is an absolute must-visit. My wife and I had the pleasure of dining there for dinner, breakfast on two mornings, and attending the grand opening event. Every dish we tried was exquisite, showcasing the restaurant’s dedication to quality. The setting is stunning, offering beautiful views, and the staff is exceptionally warm and attentive. If you find yourself in Santa Monica in search of a remarkable dining experience, look no further.

Incredible blend of middle eastern flavors in a fine dining setting. Their american style breakfast, Mediterranean lunch and fine dining dinner options offered an excellent variety for any guest of the hotel.

Let me just tell you, Michael Mina’s restaurants will never leave you disappointed. What an incredible experience, especially for a soft opening at the Regent Hotel. We’ve been to Orla in Vegas, and we were excited to see that this was the main restaurant of the hotel. The food, service, wine and cocktails are some of the best you’ll have in Santa Monica. The zucchini fritters with caviar were so airy and crispy at the same time. The kebab platter was absolutely delicious. I loved tasting all of the different Egyptian spices and flavors in one platter. The lamb kebab was especially my favorite. Everything was cooked to absolute perfection. Now the staff, WOW! Everyone who worked there seemed so happy to be there. You can tell there is a great work culture just by the service alone. Thank you to our chef, Jacob, our Sommelier, Ryan, the GM, Smith, and our server, Mauricio, for a night to remember. What an incredible team. We will obviously be back again.

We were fortunate to be among the first guests at a newly opened Mediterranean and Middle Eastern-inspired restaurant, and our experience was nothing short of remarkable! From the moment we arrived, the service team went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and attended to. Their attention to detail and friendly demeanor truly enhanced our dining experience.
We opted for the tasting menu, a delightful showcase of the restaurant’s highlights. Each dish was a masterpiece, but our favorites were the zucchini fritters topped with caviar, and the kabob platter, which was bursting with authentic flavors. The macaroni bechamel with shaved truffle was another standout, a rich and indulgent dish that left a lasting impression.
Every plate we tried was flavorful and meticulously prepared, making for an unforgettable dining experience. We can't recommend this place enough for anyone looking to indulge in spectacular food and impeccable service!
