One of my favorite Westside spots for breakfast, lunch with friends, and to get some work done. The team there takes great care of you.
This restaurant has been our regular spot to meet up with friends. We come back again and again for both the good vibes and the excellent food. Recently, they changed the menu and it was a big disappointment. I get that they want to do more small plates to match the vibe but these dishes were uninspiring and bland. I am sad that we have to go elsewhere going forward... Our sweet waitress tried her best to be positive about the menu change when we expressed our disappointment. Chrissy was adorable and very professional about it. She provided excellent service and put a smile on our faces.
Food was excellent. Lounge was beautiful but not as comfortable as a table would have been. Burger was one of the best.
Really lovely tea with a variety of interesting and out of the box savory and sweet selections.
Our waiter Francesco was awesome, the food was awesome, and you can't beat the atmosphere there. We all love the architecture and design elements throughout the place! 5 stars!!
I came for afternoon tea. The food was beautifully presented and involved some creative and unique combinations. It was a great experience in that regard. I think worth doing once if you really enjoy tea service. I was disappointed by the lack of descriptions for the teas. When I asked about one of them, the server provided an unhelpful response. A tea experience of this caliber should at least have printed descriptions of each tea. And other teas I've attended at this price point have had samples of the tea leaves available to smell. Though the servers themselves were very friendly, the overall service was not quite what I'd expect for $120. (After tax, service fee, and tip) I waited 20 minutes for my tea to arrive. Then after my tea was brought, no one checked in again until the food came out. After that, I didn't see a server again until I was done and ready for the bill.
I love this place; the food is good, cocktails are great and ambiance is comfortable and beautiful.
They went above and beyond. We asked for a cozy corner, and when they found out it was my birthday, they made it extra special. I live in the area, and it was wonderful to experience how much they genuinely care. The food was excellent, and the location is beautiful.
We had a wonderful evening celebrating a family birthday. We sat in a cozy alcove and had wonderful service. They were very attentive, professional and kind. The food was delicious. The noise level was perfect - we could hear the music, but we didn't have to scream. The alcove is lovely. The tables are coffee table height, which wasn't ideal for dinner, but the experience was special, and it didn't take away from our enjoyment.
Great date night! Service was way better than I could have imagined. So accommodating and friendly. Can't wait to go back

I love, loved this experience. What an exciting twist on high tea. The staff was amazing and attentive. Food so creative, so yummy. Some of the food was a little too fancy. I loved the savory scone.
I've dined at The Proper Calabra rooftop numerous times and enjoyed it so I thought we'd try this for a change since it was too cold to dine outside. I couldn't have been more disappointed. Yes, the overall decor is nice, but it was dead empty inside and absolutely freezing! It almost felt like we were sitting outside and I had no idea why. I literally was shaking it was so cold. The server seemed super new and came around at very odd intervals (3 times in 15 minutes then nothing for an hour etc.). We ordered a few appetizers and the branzino to share. We had asked that the cheese and charcuterie plate only have cheese as we don't eat meat. They said they'd add “extra cheeses” to compensate and we thought that nice of them. However, what we received was literally just two types of basic cheeses - one brie and the other a herb coated goat cheese, which in my opinion is super generic and not very deserving of the ridiculous price point. Both tasted like they had been in a refrigerator for weeks, were hard and not even worth eating. I know this was a Wednesday night but come on, old cheese and a paltry selection at that? We also had the hamachi crudo, being from LA it's expected that the sashimi you get at restaurants like Palma will always pretty high end, especially at $40. I couldn't have been more wrong here. The fish quality was absolutely terrible! Tasted super fishy and was hard. We hadn't even started our appetizers when the main dish of branzino was served. We had no room on our table to put it down and were left to consolidate on our own. The branzino was just ok. I am used to seeing an actual half or whole branzino on menus, but this was just a rectangle cut the size of a deck of cards and overcooked (charred skin) and smothered in sauce and overcooked peas. The only thing we enjoyed was our wine.Such a shame as I thought this would've had been a much nicer experience especially given this was well over $200 for two people. Off night or standard practice?
Went with my son for a Thanksgiving dinner experience. It was great, food was delicious and great service. Only thing portions were not very generous and a bit pricey.
It was a Beautiful & Warm Holiday Atmosphere & everyone & everything was 5 Star . Food , Service ,Decor & Hospitality from first entering & all through the time spent there 🌈😎🎉
This is a great place we stumbled upon. Very open seating with tons of room. I'm going back many times. Great food. Ambiance is par excellence. Very chill place. Music a little loud for me.
