The Plancheck burger was good but not exceptional..the chili tasted good..french fries were good however we did no t appreciate the 18 percent gratuity added to our 2 person bill..we will not go back

I had soooo many people tell me that I had to try this restaurant. I kept putting it off for months, but I finally buckled down and decided to give it a shot. First off, super cool place! They have nice outdoor seating if you want to enjoy a beautiful Santa Monica sunset. The food is pretty dang good, I had the chicken and waffles and all my friends were jealous haha. Went for dinner. Don't expect anything fancy. It's a nice place in fun Santa Monica. Service was nice and fast. Got a patty melt with the vege burger. Nice flavor and cooked well. Had good service. Only complaint is they made their own ketchup which never tastes quite right. But overall a fun night.
