Worst service ever! Literally waited for about 20 minutes for our chips and salsa. We had to ask 3 times for them, then our server said his manager was going to take our order because he was busy but there was barely any people and they were acting like it was busy, they passed by us mutliple times ignoring us. We then had to reach out to the manager to ask him if he could take our order. The food was Medicore at best, will not return. The waitress also spilled salsa on my husband and the drinks were disgusting. Would not recommend
This place is beautiful, it has a warm atmosphere despite a foggy and cloudy day in California. The service was very welcoming and kind. We were served by Gustavo, he was friendly and polite. I would definitely recommend this place if you’re passing by.

The food is entirely mediocre and overpriced. And the service was pretty bad on the night we were there. It’s really too bad because the atmosphere is actually quite nice.

Great mexican food! Enjoyed the Santa Monica sunset margarita, Mexican street corn, guac, and carne asada quesadilla. Visited twice on my trip to CA.

Dined here last night with my family. Our server Julie was very sweet and attentive and was knowledgeable about the menu and most popular dishes. For appetizers we had the Chorizo Fondido which was probably my favorite dish of the night, so tasty. For my entree I actually had another appetizer dish, the Carne Quesadilla which was a great portion size and very good. Others in my party had the Carne Asada & the Burrito. Both enjoyed their food thoroughly. For drinks we ordered the Rojo Sangria Carafe, but were disappointed. The wine just didn’t taste well which why I gave the food score a 4 star. Our waiter did her best to rectify it by getting us other drinks which were much better. Overall, we had a good time at Red O. It’s directly in front of the Pier so I suggest going during the lunch hours or sunset so you can truly take advantage of the views. Give it a try. You just might like it.

Horrible experience! Charged us $12 for 3 thin slices of avocado when we didn’t even ask for avocado.

Fun place to grab a drink and snack! We chose the tequila flight. They do have a nice menu of both food and drinks.

Service was extremely slow. Waited around for 15 minutes before we got spoken to by our server, who wasn’t that friendly or helpful. The only time he came over was when he gave us our food, no apology for the delay, just dropped it and left. (The place was not busy) Drinks didn’t arrive until 15 minutes after this. Then finally the food… which was not worth the wait at all. Lacked flavour for the price and just underwhelming. When the bill came the server just lingered around the table as I counted the money, so I felt the need to add in a larger tip than was actually deserved. We have been holiday in America for 3 weeks and the service in all the places we have been has been great, but this place ruined it for us.

We went for a birthday celebration. Service was good. The food was overly priced, the portions were not great. Mosquitoes all over the outside area. The food wasn't tasty either, not authentic Mexican food for sure.
Nice Mexican restaurant near the entrance to the Santa Monica Pier. Try the Short Rib enchiladas. Absolutely delicious. Interesting menu for brunch. Note that the restaurant doesn't open until 11 am on weekends contrary to what Open Table says.
We came here from out of town, wasn’t sure what to expect due to the reviews. Food was good, but service was awesome. Our server was quick and attentive. Definitely recommend!!!
