We had a not so great experience with Emmy’s pizza. This is strictly about their service and lack of accurate description of their pizza. I’m gluten free and lactose intolerant. I was really excited to find a pizza place near the Airbnb we were staying at…. I got the dipper and ordered it without the cheese and gluten free and added a few toppings. Their menu says it contains “pecorino, artichoke and spinach” but apparently it had a spinach artichoke dip on it….. so after making it they come out and ask if that’s what I wanted or not. They also brought my husband and kids food at the same time so I had to sit and wait for another pizza to be made. When it finally came out it was COVERED in chili flakes. This was also not on the topping description. I couldn’t eat the pizza and just asked for a refund at that point not wanting them to mess up again. I would have ordered a BYO pizza but it was not offered on their online ordering. Please update your menu descriptions and pictures. We also ordered corn instead of fries with our sons kids pizza but they came out and said they don’t serve corn (even though it’s pictured with another kids menu item) and that the kids pizza came with baby carrots (even thought the picture is shown with fries).I’m just really disappointed in the service and accuracy of the order descriptions especially when they charge so much for a pizza!

Huge brewery, probably one of, if not the largest I've ever visited. Lots of seating inside and out. I would assume this place is family friendly, but thankfully all the babies were home in bed. Sorry not a fan of alcohol and adolescents. It was the end of the night when I showed up so it was fairly dead. They had plenty of IPAs for me to try, but they don't do half pours? Points off, there's no excuse for that. So I only had 3 beers, the Pils, a Hazy and the smoked beer. The 1st two were fairly standard and easy drinking. The smoked beer was good, but more of an occasion beer. It's not as strong as a Marzen, I wasn't getting the ham and cheese vibes I do with other smoked hop beers. Didn't order food, but maybe the smoked trout dip and that smoked beer would be a good pairing? But the whole not giving your customers the option of a half pour seems silly and irresponsible. I would've liked to sample more, but couldn't due to time BAC limits.

An 18% service charge just means everything costs at least 18% more than advertised. It should be illegal.Just pay your workers fairly by the hour, not by the sale and cut that out.Eat the rich.

Great assortment of beers

Very rude staff and mediocre beer. Is it because they mandate 18% tip no matter performance?

The staff are incredibly rude and unethical. I was already on the fence about continuing to come here since the beers + service charge are so overpriced and the ambience is to look over a parking lot. My experience today confirmed my feelings and we ended up taking our business to a much friendlier place, highly recommend that you do too.

So many dogs and the pch beer is so good

Adrian is the best bartender. Knowledgeable and fun. Love the beers here! Take crowlers to go all the time. Having a great beer outside in beautiful Santa Monica can’t be beat.

Excellent ale and a pizza shop is connected for dining options
Fast and friendly service. Huge brewery. Indoor and outdoor seating. Water station. Clean restrooms. Flights available with 4 beers. Non alcoholic options. Free parking lot.

It's probably the most unwelcoming brewery atmosphere I have ever seen unless you are a local or here with a group. 630 pm on a Wednesday and it's packed but there is no bar seating and almost every table full. It's like a German beer hall without the friendliness and warmth. Like a beer serving warehouse. First beer (OPP) an ok 3/5 rating. Hoppy Pils much better. Not a bad stop, but if looking for that neighborhood brewery feel, it is not this.

Ridiculously expensive for very average beer. They also make you pay a mandatory 18% tip (because why pay your own employees when you can have customers do it I guess?). I recommend Firestone Walker in Marina del Rey.
