This was a horrible experience. We did not stay to eat. We walked in and had no clue where to go. We could not find any employees to help. We finally flagged a bartender down. She told us just to go upstairs and find a seat. Every table was filthy. No one acknowledged us. We ended up leaving.
Our visit to Seaside on the Pier was extremely disappointing. From the start, the service was chaotic. The server was aggressively “pimping out” tables, shoving menus at guests as we walked on the pier. We had reservations, but I'm not sure they were ever properly credited. We were seated in a strange outdoor section in her area, which already felt disorganized. She had way too many tables and made several mistakes. My son ordered a plain cheese pizza, but we were brought a supreme pizza with our meals. The runner seemed surprised when we sent it back. It then took forever for the correct pizza to arrive while my son was starving—we had already finished our meals, and he had devoured all our fries. A simple gesture like offering a basket of fries while we waited would have been appreciated. The check was also a mess. We were charged for a pepperoni pizza we didn't order, and my husband's burger was $1 more than the menu listed. In total, we spent extra on items we didn't even order. The restaurant was very loud, and it felt like the focus was on serving as many guests as possible rather than providing quality service. We paid through the InKind app, but unfortunately, we won't be returning.
The food is ok
The service was good but I didn't like that the waitress told us that if we finish another clients are waiting for the table 🤯😂🙄 ridiculous. And there is a girl that is taking pictures and says it's for guests but later she returns with the pictures and tell you it's $20 each 🙄🙄🙄

Good atmosphere. There's seating on the second floor and the roof. I got the fish and chips, which were fresh and tasty, but i only got 2 small fried fillets.

You pay for being on the pier, so that is a nice location, but the food… judge yourself by looking at this pizza! Mozzarella was pretty bad, dough nit well rounded and levitated, scarce tomato, and senseless basil strips.

Had reservations for months to come while visiting. Walked in and said we had reservations (online said you had to book them in order to be guaranteed a spot on the roof top). Told hostess we had reservations for the roof top, didn’t say anything but guided us to the elevator and then put us at the roof top. No one told us to sit anywhere, we had to flag the waiter down. He told us to sit anywhere. waited 20 minutes to be asked what we wanted to drink. Every meal i asked for they didn’t have so I ended up with a salad that was soggy and chicken that looked like it came out of a can. Was not impressed at all.
Pretty rooftop for the sunset, but that was about the only good thing there. Also, flies swarming inside and out often.

Awful experience do not go here! Waited 1hr 15 mins for a bowl of french fries and they couldn’t care less, had a load of drinks not given happy hour rates as advertised and then they struck a $25 tip on the bill embarrassing 😡😡😡

was a birthday celebration. requested roof top seating for three people (seniors) @ 3pm, was seated outdoors 2nd floor (thought it WAS the roof top) right next to speakers (very loud music). as we were leaving, found out there WAS a separate ROOF TOP dining area, not where we were seated. ordered ice tea, not available, settled for cola; ordered coffee, not normally served after breakfast?? (but they did make coffee throughout our meal). two people ordered ribeye steak, not available (they didn't receive food shipment??). changed one order to hamburger & fries, fries came out COLD (later it was replaced with hot fries). restroom on 2nd floor had NO toilet paper, NO paper towels. tried to tell staff (many didn't speak-understand English), was told NO toilet paper available!! staff uses the SAME restroom!! WHAT!!! spoke to manager on duty, apologized for problems encountered. in the end, the manager gave a 20% food discount for problems encountered. for being a seafood restaurant with a view recommended for its experience, we were very disappointed. considering this was a birthday celebration, was not very happy. would not go back, unless management made changes.
Terrible service. After being sat at a table, we had to wait 20 minutes just to get our drink order. One waitress for both floors of this establishment. Food was obviously frozen before being cooked. Dead flies all over the place. French fries were disgusting.

Restaurantji Recommends
Place looked nice and food looked good in the pictures but way different in person. The inside was outdated and food quality was poor. We had salmon, a burger, and pizza. Salmon was very dry and had no seasoning. Pizza from chucky cheese is better than at this place. We tried a chocolate cake desert but it looked like they had bought it from your local grocery store. Will not return to this place.

Strongly not recommend to order any food. The food quality is very poor and the size is not enough. i.e.) Cold fries coming with Sandwiches.

Seaside on the Pier is a quaint seaside restaurant offering amazing ocean views with good food at affordable prices. The service was outstanding.
I had a dinner for a party on a Saturday night. The manager (Jim) arranged a table on the rooftop so we could enjoy the sunset. Super friendly staff and nice atmosphere.

First, I just want to say that we had great service. Our waiter was very kind and prompt despite being the only one on the floor.
The reason I took away a star is because my grandmother and I both experienced mild food poisoning from our food.
We both shared the seafood pasta, and while the sauce was very tasty, some of the seafood tasted off (possibly the lobster or cod bits).
We still completed our meal, but we later experienced extreme intestinal discomfort into the next day. It was the only thing we both ate in the 24 hour period.
Also, I would not recommend the garlic bread. It tastes fine, buts only half a slice of bread for the price.
For reference, we spent $35 for a single entree and half a slice of bread (not bad for LA, b unfortunate considering the rancid seafood in our pasta).
