Absolutely great. Friendly environment and gracious and attentive owner. Thank you for the amazing salmon...

I just ate the best Reuben I've ever had (they call it the Clevelander). Bread is soft, meat isn't fatty or chewy, perfect amount of sauce while not dripping in it. Not messy at all. 5/5 - fantastic. As a Jew I've had my fair share of Reuben's on the East Coast and this is still streets ahead. Everything comes with a side and I've always chosen the potato salad and it is awesome - vinegary, mustardy, bacony, warm, all the good stuff. 6 stars for also having Weisswurst, which is a white sausage that is often boiled and softer. By far my favorite and definitely the most unique of the usual sausages you'll see in America. Served with a hefty amount of really good sauerkraut, it's my other go-to dish now. This place is amazing, quick, people are kind, and always outdoor seating available. 6 flippin stars

Wonderful food and super place for brunch. The staff was delightful and charming. Someone, who sounded like the owner, made some loud, unsettling comments about a customer that he should have kept to himself.

Super nice and friendly staff and great food. My favorite is the traditional Swedish open faced shrimp sandwich.

Shoop's is a European market and cafe that serve breakfast all day plus brunch and sandwiches, they're located a few blocks from the beach in Santa Monica, there is meter parking in the front but limited, but the rear has a ton of meter parking also you can enter from the rear...OK but to the review. The menu is HUGE not kidding with so many delicious to chooe from, there are about 6 table setting inside and about 15 to 20 outside with umbrella's. Our waitress was very friendly plus helpful taking our order's which was the over size pineapple pancakes, the were cooked inside the fluffy and sweet pancakes that needed no syrup, "mouthgasm" scrambled eggs and trukey sausages, plus the mash yams they had a yummy taste to them, scrambled eggs, potatoes was crispy and very good too, a side order of avacado. We even got the chance to sample some smoked salmon that was definitely two thumbs up.

Great German deli AND place for brunch! This is the place to pick up European bouillon, German mustard, packages of leek soup, Fa soap products (the best), and of course, German beer. Service is warm and friendly. Ambiance is cozy deli. The menu is a cross between classic American diner and European menu items (think muesli pancakes, which were delicious.) The coffee is strong. And there are good options for the vegan in the group. Indoor and outdoor dining is available. Street parking (meter or free during the day one street east.)

Just check out the amazing menu. Lots of parking in the lot behind the shop...back door open. Great waiters and staff. Casual. Tables in the parking lot in front very fresh ambience Europe's deli too. They smoke their salmon.

Food was sub par. Half way through the meal we were asked to move our vehicle so that the owner could park hers in a spot that was clearly marked "reserved for Shoops parking only". There were a minimum of 30 other spots the entitled owner could have parked but she insisted on bothering paying customers. I would never recommend dining here. make sure not to order the bacon pancakes they are horrible.

I would not recommend shoops deli. The staff was rude and I also saw a cook grabbing pieces of salmon with his bare hands from the deli.

Shoops has been in the regular rotation for our family for the last 6 years. Breakfast is incredible. Lunch is fantastic. We love the breakfast wraps; the body wrap and Aaron's wrap w/ bbq sauce on the side. For lunch it's all about the Salmon Caesar Salad or wrap or Ambassador sandwich. The staff is incredibly kind and always friendly. They always greeted us with a smile, recognized us and made the extra effort to make sure we were attended too.We are leaving Santa Monica and our weekend meals at/ from Shoops will be life long memories! It was even the first place we brought our son for his first meal out at 3 weeks old! Thanks Matt and Shoops family for making our breakfasts and lunches special for so many years :)
