Great spot for brunch!! They let us know when ordering it was about a 30-40 minute wait for food and it took about 40 mins for our dishes, but worth the wait. My friend is gluten free and was really pleased with the GF chicken sandwich she got. I had the chicken biscuit sliders, added scrambled eggs (with the jam and jalapeños on the side) and they were delicious!! We were already planning our return back before we even left. Highly recommend!
This place was a recommendation by a friend, and it was just as good as described.
The pancakes were huge and very tasty, the service was very friendly and chilled, I had a great morning just chilling outside here, catching some rays
If in Santa Monica, great option for breakfast/brunch

Found a piece of an egg shell in my overcooked pancakes. Chips in my chilaquiles were stale and the overall dish had no flavor. Wouldn’t recommend👎
The decor of the restaurant raised my expectations for the food, but it was mid. Decent but not anything special. The general consensus was that there wasn't great flavor in itself but the sauces were nice.

Had an amazing experience here, they don’t take reservations but were incredibly accommodating for our large party. Had incredible food and coffee drinks, the service was impeccable. I believe her name was Sharice, she kept our birthday girl’s mimosa glass FULL at all times, we loved her. The whole staff was so fun and kind, chatting us up and helping us make the right choices when it came to our orders. 10/10 will be back

I posted the review below yesterday and now have read the business's reply. So .... they are correct that one can get thru to a live person (which I just did to inquire about their indoor seating vs their plentiful outdoor seating), however the Option 4 on the phone to press in order to get through to someone is described as the Option for take-out and deliveries. Often the people who answer for take-out calls don't have the knowledge to answer other questions that an owner or manager (or receptionist) would have, and so as consumers we don't go around thinking "Take-out" options are "the way" to reach a knowledgable person who could answer non-frequent questions. In this instance it worked out, though, i.e., a friendly woman answered and took a moment (!!) to listen to my question and respond with helpful information. It's really not complicated for businesses to "be there" for prospective customer or regular customer inquiries, yet so many businesses nowadays try to save money (and frustrate potential customers) by not actually answering the phone. I'm glad I found the "secret" way to reach a live person at Society Kitchen (by pressing the Take-out option) AND that she took a moment, listened and replied thoughtfully.
Wanted to ask them a question regarding meeting 2 friends there. They don't answer the phone, They say on their outgoing greeting that they will respond only to FREQUENTLY asked questions in their outgoing message. Great, you just lost my business "forever" since you're in my neighborhood and I had wanted to try you, but I cannot and will not go to places that don't have the basic courtesy to be available for questions form paying (or potentially paying) customers. Riding high thinking you don't have to bother with this kind of BASIC customer service is why many restaurants get popular but then fail, It happens all the time because in the end, the customer should be valued not told that the business will only answer frequently asked questions and otherwise not have a phone number where the public and reach them. You'll see in time that you should have catered to your customers (to win many and to win the loyalty of the ones you have). Arrogance always brings its own downfall, Now we are looking for another place to meet, and than goodness, there are plenty of good ones to choose from! :)

Loved that this place was open at 8am on Saturday with no wait and a warm outdoor patio in the sun. Chill employees and delicious and healthy breakfast burritos. Highly recommend!
