I wasn’t going to write a review, but I just feel like I have to say something. The service is ok, staff is friendly, for the most part. It’s a hotspot in LA, so you can expect it to be a little on the pricy side. That said, I find the prices of the lattes not being on the board to be predatory. They have a “lavender fog” drink, which is $11.50, “rosemary rise” which has matcha and a “sage spiced” latte with espresso, both are $12. When I asked if $11.50 was correct for the lavender fog, I was told it is because they are “signature drinks” and he tried to sell me on it. I was not too proud to say “I will take something else” and they then charged me a dollar more for a little bit of extra whipped cream for my churro French toast when I asked for it (which is not the most consistent dish I’ve ever had). I am honestly insulted by that up charge and the prices of the lattes not being posted amongst the in-store menus. The seating situation honestly sucks, there aren’t enough umbrellas during the day, and the a/c was blasting inside this morning, making the restaurant colder than outside. When it’s busy you have to hover for a table, and the food takes forever, even when they’re not insanely busy. The line for brunch on the weekend is absolutely unhinged and there has to be a better solution. This was somewhere I loved to come pretty regularly, but I doubt I will be back. They also forgot to put espresso in the ube latte this morning…. Also, the gentleman helping us this morning said the candied spicy bacon is so spicy he’s never seen someone finish the dish, glad I was warned or I would have been upset that I ordered something I couldn’t eat.Kid-friendliness: The environment is hectic on the weekend, wouldn’t suggest bringing kids around- for their sake and fellow patrons. Really a place for kids in high school-young adults to see people and be seen.

This place was awesome. I highly recommend this establishment to anyone visiting the LA area. The food was good. Go early cause the line gets crazy. Go with an empty belly. You will be full. Try the lemon ricotta pancakes.

We went there on Sunday at around 10am and got a table inside without wait, but it got crowded short after. The food tasted great and the atmosphere was great too, but our orders were forgotten for half an hour, and they didn’t notice it until we reminded them. Otherwise it was perfect.

Quick drop in for "Glass-Off" " happy hour. It's just in the bar area. The old fashioned are great. The 5 dollar skewers are superb. Steak, chicken or salmon, all a delight. It's a fabulous place all around.

A great neighborhood gem in Sunset Park. My husband and I went there on a Saturday morning, and we walked in and found a table right away. We ordered at the counter, and we did not have a long wait before they brought our food and beverages. My husband and I ordered the lemon ricotta pancakes and one of the breakfast sandwiches. They were both incredible! We will definitely be going back. They have lots of aesthetic drinks that I want to try next time. My only wish is that they would let you order at the table. With so many menu options, it is tough to make a decision at the counter so quickly.

The rustic steak sandwich is absolutely amazing, with the sweet potatoes. I wasn't drinking but my friends all said the bottomless memosas is a must. I definitely recommend this place and will be going back to try more of the menu.
