I loved the food and the vibes, but man, who’s this host that is working tonight? Extremely rude person. We came in around 5:10pm, were sat at the table and weren’t told we have a limited time or if there’s a reservation for that table at any time. We ordered food and drinks and were expecting more to come. I haven’t even finished my drink when at 7pm the host came and said we have only 10 min left because they have a reservation. Went to Solidarity for my first time the other night because my friend wouldn’t stop talking about their pierogies. I was reluctant, but I agreed, and I’m so glad that I did. All the food was 10 out of 10, incredible. Great service - all the food came out quickly, and a really cute atmosphere.
Loved the Herring and pierogi. Potato pancakes, bacon-wrapped prunes, pork schnitzel were also good. Hot toddy was great (better than the margaritas and beer stroganoff). Next time I want to try the crispy duck.
