Spumoni Pizza Restaurant

The food was overall pretty decent. I wasn’t blown away by anything, but I think I would probably come back again to eat here. My wife seemed to like her food a lot. The service was pretty good. Everyone was welcoming. It wasn’t too crowded and we were able to get a seat right away. The atmosphere could’ve been a little bit lighter I think but overall, it was a good experience. I would probably come back here again maybe a few more times to try out some of the other dishes.

This is a favorite of mine. I have taken all my close friends to this place at one time or another. I love the food, the atmosphere and service is good. After a meal, I like to go shopping across the street to Structure women's clothing store and the glassware Eyes on Montana. You can end your day at the bluffs watching the waves a few blocks away.

Let me start by saying the food here is always good. However, this particular experience wasn’t as pleasant. The kitchen staff are a bunch of creeps. They hunch down to stare at you making googly eyes. Pivot their standing position to get a full view of you making you totally uncomfortable.
The waitstaff public hygiene is horrible. The guy with a bull nose walked in off the street. Donned his apron and began preparing bread with his barehands. Constantly runs his hands through his hair and handles food. Another guys moved lettuce around on a plate with his barehands.

Unfortunately ordered take out. Firstly, the host told me it would be a 20 minute wait (I waited over 40 mins) I asked for a gluten free pizza (she repeated the order mentioning gluten free). I went around a few blocks to kill time and ended up waiting an extra 20 mins. I was standing then decided to sit at the empty patio up front, a party of three wanted to sit outside and she told me I needed to move…I look around and see 3 other tables she could move to accommodate the party and the other party mentions they’d prefer to sit on the opposite side of the patio from me anyway.
After waiting double the time I get my food, walk home eat my “gluten free pizza” only to have a severe stomach reaction 5 minutes into dinner due to her negligence on making sure my order was right. I even tipped her.
This is completely unacceptable and I was referred to this restaurant by a friend who’s famous film director who raved about their service, and outstanding food. Well I don’t know who to blame him or this unintelligent incompetent host.

Very good service and delicious pizza.

Our local Italian, we come pretty much every Monday for the incredible food - both the pizza and pasta is incredible. The broccoli rabe is a go-to for us. The staff are always so friendly and attentive, I can't recommend this place enough!

Walked in with my dad, sat at counter, then followed all of servers recommendations. Started with house red wines, bread with olive tapenade, and chopped salad. Main courses of Capellini alla Checca and their special shellfish pasta. Finished with Ricotta & Pistachio Cake. Everything was exceptionally delicious. Fabulously friendly atmosphere and service. We’ll be back!
