Spumoni Pizza Restaurant

They did not honor my reservation I had with my family on December 24 at 8 p.m. They argued that they did not accept online reservations and that they were already closing when there were still people eating inside. We had to find where to have dinner at that time. They have no seriousness. I don't recommend it.

Yet another restaurant that treats its vegan customers like persona non grata.

DON'T COME HERE unless you like to be humiliated for being vegan!

If you or anyone in your group follows a vegan diet, forget about the Happy Hour menu, as they'll quickly clarify that any modifications of sauce or pasta has an extra charge, to which I say, never coming here ever again!!!

Anyone unwelcoming vegans that way gets its well-deserved single star from me. :-)

Really tasty Italian place! I love their sauce. So many good chicken dishes, and the Arancini appetizer (lightly fried rice balls with mozzarella, ground beef in tomato sauce) are ridiculously good! And the Spumoni Bamba (Neapolitan ice cream dessert ball wrapped in chocolate!) Sorry I’m drooling now! And 1/2 price Mondays!!! Say what!!??? (I shouldn’t have told you!) Really good food!

I just had the 2 best delivery dinners, Linguini with shrimp, from Spumoni (Santa Monica). Before Covid I went there all the time. I ordered from them at least 3 times a week during Covid and it got me through the pandemic. It's more fun to go there; Great atmosphere, Great waiters and a great neighborhood restaurant. Food is exellent and so resonably priced. Thank you to Stephen and Fausto. It's rare to have such a gem of a restaurant in Santa Monica.

Bad quality procciuto with no taste, tasteless mozzarella and black olives which are not real (I asked the waiter to prove to me that they are real black olives and not processed ones but he refused to show me the jar ahahaa), in short a pizza without flavor, .. sorry. and a waitress who does the service while eating and with her mouth full... very bad experience.

I tried the Monday night deal at Spumonis, it’s a great price for dinner they do 50% off your food 5-9 every Monday. Honestly the food was not great, it does get busy on Mondays so maybe that affected the quality? I’m not sure but I got the eggplant parm and it was uncooked on the inside and the outside was fried and super soggy, definitely would not recommend. The dish also did not come with pasta even though it is under the pasta section so I found that rather odd.

Love this restaurant! Great vibes, solid menu, bread service with olive olive oil (yes I just typed olive twice) is phenomenal. I highly recommend.

Neighborhood Italian eatery with 50% off food on Mondays from 5pm-9pm. They also have happy hour every day. I’ve been here a few times and really enjoyed the handmade pastas. The funghi pasta is very creamy with al dente pasta. The chicken and mushroom pasta is also a good choice if you want a lighter meal. They provide complimentary bread which comes freshly baked in addition to an olive oil/tapenade. The place can get quite busy but service is always nice. Indoor and outdoor heated seating is available. Credit cards accepted. Metered street parking. Overall, a cute spot for a casual date night or catch up.
