i d say refunds on a bad drink in the old days didn't shorten the customer even if they "drank a little "(duh.. how else did you think the customer found out if drinks were accidentally bad?) i like their coffee usually , this was 1st time i didn't . The refund was 25 cents less and 25 stars less. I ordered americano for a change medium and used stars to get extrar shot esperesso. Sadly, coffee came out very weak. What a disappointment as it was the end of the day, and i was getting ready for my evening shift, and all coffee stores are closing down. I guess i made the wrong choice to stop by here. In the old days , Starbucks would issue not just the right amount of refund but also a gift card for the negative experience, if that ever happened. And it can happen. But i always hope it doesn't as i come for coffee, not refunds on money i paid . I also didnt really want a refund, in thie case, but barista refused to swap the medium americano with the etxra shot esperesso ( i used 25 dyars for that ) she refused to swap that for a large regular coffee. She said she could only give me a small coffee instead. She said i had "drank a little bit," so she could only replace the remaining amount of coffee with the same amount of coffee. I tried to remind her that I had paid 5 50 originally, and that would not equal 3 25 (a small coffee) . I had walked away and came back only because coffee was not drinkable for me. It was upsetting enough, but I wasn't angry , as this was 1st time i didn't like their coffee. And obviously, ihqs drbak a little (3 sips) as i had to taste it. Nothing worse than a weak coffee when you need coffee for a coffee drinker l, such as myself. Also, the refund doesn't even show in the app. She said it would take a week. Barista also thought my situation was funny and kept laughing, which was very bizarre because she usually is professional. She kept telling me to talk to her "manager" and kept pointing in the AIR, saying "he s right there." There were many men out there . I finally found out who he was. He said he wasn't her manager. She then said her manager was back tomorrow. I asked who her manager was. She kept laughing and saying she had no issue and she couldn't help me. The other "manager " explained to me that her manager was a female and they d be back tomorrow. Needless to say , i wont be coming to look for her "manager ""tomorrow", but may be just may be , baristas shouldnt be rude , just because they made a bad cup of coffee and refunded less than what was paid and weren't interested in customer satisfaction. I'd say refunding less than what the customer paid is not legal either. I guess she wasn't moved at all she kept giggling and repeating that she had no problem and that i was the one with the problem. May be she was tired byt so was i and now have to go find coffee for my evening work shift WASTED trip and a bad taste but i will forget it because . what s the point to remember this. only this is my personal time wasted , while barista was paid for her time. and this is what she chose to do with her paid time . UODATE. REFUND WASNT RECEIVED. coffee was americano that came put very weak. 3 sips and returned. I have a receipt that doesnt look like a refund but the gilt on 18 sept qt 7 30 pm assured me this was a refund, mocked me and claimed she wasnt the "one with the problem". so where did the money go ? let me know ; starbucks from "Pavillions'. By the way the coffee was bad. If starbucks coffee was always this bad, id not been a customer of 18 years or whenever rhey came ou ton the east coast at the time.

It is a very clean and well run business, with good products. I just don't like the sometimes super 'woke' atmosphere and attitude of some patrons.
