New Years Eve meal was delicious. Butternut squash pizza, grilled artichokes and chicken wings. Plus a delicious bottle of Montepulciano wine.?. Great way to end one year and begin another.

Had a 7:45 reservation arrived at 7:15 and was seated right away. Food was good, not great, service was very good. Seemed busy so I'm not sure why they are closing their doors

I made a reservation and asked for a standard table, not high top. When I got there we were given a high top and was told it was the only table available. It was also right next to the kitchen door and cooking area. It was loud, exceptionally hot, and the table was extremely wobbly. It was my 60th birthday celebration so I was a little disappointed in the overall experience. We also wanted the arancini and was told they were out. It was only 6:30pm so I was a little surprised with that.

Everything was fantastic! The hostess who greeted us was super nice & polite as well as our server. The food came out in a timely manner, especially for being made to order, & was absolutely delicious! I'd recommend this place whenever you find yourself on Main Street. So sad to hear it's leaving but will definitely make my way there a couple more times before it does!

We had a group of 9 celebrating my birthday and our server Nicole was excellent! She was sweet, genuine, attentive and so patient with all our requests. We also took our cake with us which they allow, we had a wonderful time and will definitely go back in the future

Sorry I did write a review before . They have the best pizza in Santa Monica and the best chicken parmesan anywhere. Reasonable prices, especially at happy hour- I guess too reasonable. Very sorry to hear they are closing in January :(

So our first visit was Friday. It was so good we went back on Sunday and we weren't disappointed. Everything about this place is great. We are only in LA for five nights and we are thinking we might go again... Enough said

Stella Barra delivered a bunch of pizzas for a work event, and they were amazing! The GM was so kind, the Giardiniera pizza was amazing, and they had a lot of variety including gf/vegan. They also have outrageous cookies, we would definitely use them again for an event!

We had never been for Happy Hour previously and were disappointed with many of the items we ordered, particularly the "personal size" pepperoni pizza. It was very generic and didn't seem at all related to their really tasty regular-sized pies. The truffle fries and burrata were also unimpressive, though the meatballs and chopped salad saved the meal from being a total bummer. The beer and cocktail options were adequate and the noise level was a bit loud, though to be expected on a Friday eve. We won't rush back but will return at some point and stick to the regular menu.

This was a return visit to Stella Barra for the three of us. We started with the truffle fries as an appetizer; it's a great dish: heaping plate of nicely cooked fries with a great truffle-parmesan seasoning. We had two pizzas: margherita and sliced mushroom...both were excellent and featured a thin, perfectly cooked and chewy crust. The pizza is top level and one that I'll return to.

Delicious food and excellent service, in a lovely rustic ambiance. Had the peaches and burrata salad and the garlic knots appetizers, both were fantastic. Highly recommend for great food and service. Oh, and excellent wine list, of course. We were staying nearby so can’t comment on parking.

I remember Stella Barra having exceptionally good food (esp their pizzas and salads) pre-Covid. Since then I know they have struggled and I'm sure have changed ownership.. after dining their recently, I can tell their 'quality' has gone downhill. Food is now mediocre and not worth the $$$$. Their pizzas and salads are still very good - their pasta dishes are very average - mine was overcooked. Salads are good (and greens good quality) but very small portion for the price. You may as well go to Ospi for much better quality food an pay the same price... Staff / service at Stella is still good at least. Shame they went down in quality and are not what they used to be.

Birthday dinner for one of three longtime friends. Few rounds of drinks, appetizer, three entrees. Bread and butter maybe? Two orders charged on the handheld. Server: "... don't ask me, I just hit 'Bread' twice....". Not your neighborhood friendly restaurant. But the food was...good.
