This is the only place I will eat a burger. Their burgers are by far some of the best I've ever had. Their service is a little shotty however as 9/10 they somehow mess up our order when we order to go. Not as bad in person. Not sure what is going on and I hope they figure it out!

The manager was only one actually assisting most of the people there so it took a little to order food and it was worth the wait. She is really nice and burger was amazing.

Good burger (we chose the Mr America) a bit pricy as sides are extra but ok for the location close to santa monica pier.Service was unfortunately not good, only one person for all tables, first ignored for 15 min, another 15 min to get the drinks, the ordered water was never served, when the burger was served instead of 2 pink/2 non pink - 1 pink / 3 non pink were served, onion rings were forgotten and took 5 min extra and when we were asking for the bill 20% tips were already added, when confronting the waitress she claimed it was by mistake, but being tourists it felt like we were easy victims. Waitress overall was friendly at least.

We went there on 7/15 for dinner. It was a pretty small place than I thought. The burger was meaty and juicy, so I enjoyed it a lot. I especially liked their burger buns. There are many different types of burgers, so you'd better read the description carefully before you choose one. The one my husband got was a bit sweet and mine was salty and savory. Fries were not so special but still crunch. There was almost no vegies in the burger.I was taxed for 3.5% which was called Healthy LA. I thought it was because I ate something bad for my health, but it seems this is for employees health insurance.The server was nice and friendly, so I didn't mind it.If you enjoy drinking beers, I recommend this place.

Awesome burger, tasty fries. Neat location by the beach.Mandatory 20% tip on each check = not cool. Also, a 'healthy LA' fee or something.We would've stayed longer and bought more but kept getting asked if we were done, had the checked dropped before we were finished, and kept getting asked if check was ready to be paid.Oh yeah, and mandatory 20% gratuity added to every check. Pay your employees better

I tried the stout burger and the truffle shuffle burger, both are delicious. Add fries for a better experience. The location is so cute, it’s in Santa Monica by the beach! It’s nice to sit outside if it’s not windy and enjoy the burger with beer. ( also you can ask for beer samples if you’re not sure what you want).
Best burgers in town!! Juicy, tasteful and interesting topping combination. The beers selection was great, too. The tater tots were awesome. We had them as appetizer to snack with beers. The servers were very nice and great service. The food doesn't take long and everything comes out fresh and hot from the kitchen.

Also, one of the waiters seemed really out. He didn't smile or pay attention. He took some of our food even though we were not finished

possibly the best, most non-pretentious gourmet burger in LA -- not exaggerating. The "Stout Burger" has these INCREDIBLE caramelized onions that remind me of French Onion soup -- the fries were perfectly seasoned and happy hour was delightful. burgers are priced just right & @ 6 oz, burger size was perfect (you can double it for $8). customer service was awesome.We also had then "six-weeker" which was DELICIOUS.don't miss out!
Loved this place! Small little bar/burger joint in downtown Santa monica. First thing we noticed was how attentive they were for our dog. The waiter/busser were both amazing! They brought us a water-bowl and made sure our little guy was taken care of! The burgers and sides were awesome! Onion rings were fat and had a amazing crisp. Major plus was they had various sauces you can try with your meal, good variety. Will definitely be coming back and appreciate the great customer service they showed us and our dog.
