Soooo good. My first time having onigiri. So tasty, prepared quickly, fresh, & they were so nice. I'll definitely be back!!

I came here recently on a weekend, and there was a small group of people waiting outside for their orders. It took about 20 minutes but so worth it. We got the beef and chicken curry omusibi. They are filling & well worth the price of $4.95 each. The seaweed is perfectly salted and slightly crispy and they didn't skimp on the meat which I appreciated.

Great grab and go spot for omusubi. Although there's no where to sit, it's a 8 min walk to the ocean which makes it a nice beach snack. Lots of vegan options. Kara tuna is solid and if you're feeling adventurous try the sunny blue curry. Service here is excellent and they offer hand sanitizer which is plus

The taste of this Japanese onigiri restaurant is quite authentic, and its rice is the best I have ever eaten in the United States. Today I tried two flavors on site: miso beef and Sunny Blue curry, both of which are their signature dishes. The filling is full and the sauce is delicious. It doesn't have the problem of heavy taste that many American restaurants have. It should suit Asian tastes well.I ordered a bowl of kimchi miso soup. It was very special. It was the first time I had it. It was a little spicy. People who like kimchi will probably like it.There are no inside seats here, so you can eat directly on the roadside. It would be better if there were a few small stools for inside customers to eat. After all, rice balls are best eaten when they are hot, and the flavor will still be different if they are taken away cold. It’s a pity that I didn’t see egg rice balls on the menu. But in short, I still highly recommend this Japanese rice ball restaurant! !

Food and service was great, good price and quality ingredients. I deduct a star because no soy sauce or salt, kind of pretentious considering it's an easy fix

Great spot for a quick snack on Main Street. They don't have seating options, so I walked down to the beach and enjoyed this delicious treat. It is made ready to eat, so plan on eating them within 15 minutes of ordering. I wanted to try a vegetarian and non-veg option, so I had the mushroom and sweet and sour chicken omusubi, which were delicious and flavor packed. The mushroom was a little more rice heavy for me, but I still was able to finish the serving without a problem. Sweet and sour chicken was moist and savory. Plan to park on the street or the parking lots behind main. Price is right, will be back to try the rest!

This place is great if you need a light snack! However, they do overpack the rice. It's best to eat it warm! The two chefs are pretty fast at making the little nori sandwich and I would definitely recommend getting 3-4 to fill you up! This place is a small little joints so you're gonna have to take it to the beach and enjoy it with the sunset.

Healthy. Cheap. Fast. Easy. This place is great. I eat here at least once a week and look forward to it every time. The staff is spectacular. I feel like I'm getting to see friends every time, especially on off-peak hours when there isn't a line. I get 2 - miso beef, Kara tuna, spicy salmon or yuzu pork depending on the day - and either eat them on my way home from the gym or walk to the beach. There can be a bit of a wait on weekends so I recommend ordering a lychee boba green tea to keep you company. It's never longer than 5-10 minutes. TLDR: come here.

Overall, I was really underwhelmed by the omusubi here. While the flavor of the spicy salmon itself was solid, I felt the rice could’ve used a bit of vinegar or other seasoning. Also, the balls did not stay balls for long - definitely could’ve used more substantial seaweed or stickier rice. The miso mushroom was lacking flavor - a bit more umami and salt would’ve made it a lot more satisfying. The plum omusubi was solid flavor-wise, but could’ve used a lot more filling. While the price wasn’t bad, I was definitely expecting something a bit more interesting or satisfying.

Im a fan !! with vegan options and choices of meat for those who aren't fans of fish - you will definitely find something here that you'll enjoy eating. Great to snack on while walking around Santa Monica or heading to the beach. FYI -No seating was available when I checked this place out. A bit of a tip is to order through Yelp in advance so that you don't have to wait in line. Service is great and efficient !
