Never have I ever tried a more bland Mexican food and I was tipsy which should say a lot…Drinks were good though

Update: First time I came I got excellent customer service, second time I go in and this heavier set lady is pretty rude and giving me dirty looks. She didn’t smile once and took a long time to come over and take my order. When I asked her for salsa, she scoffed as if it’s not her job to do that. Her demeanor was super wack and I’m not into it at all. Anyways here’s my first reviewCustomer service was excellent and friendly, I got my food quickly, and it tasted pretty good. Only thing I could say negative is that I could have gotten double the amount of food for the same price at a local taco truck

Came here to try it out and the cashier (am, short hair, glasses) was so rude! The food is absolutely great but the customer service needs work, so bad that at one point I went up to ask for a bag and I didn’t even get acknowledged

The food was awesome here! Me and my wife are visiting from Colorado and we just ended up finding Taco Libre as it was close to the Santa Monica pier so we tried it and we’re blown away by how good the food was! We highly recommend coming to this place

Taco libre has the best crispy tacos in town Fried shell. Lots of meat lettuce tomatoes sour cream and I added cheese and it was piled on. Red sauce was spicy but not too spicy and added lots of flavor. They had 3 different kinds of sauces to choose from. Priced right at 3.75 per taco once I added cheese

The staff and music is great. The price for tacos is a bit steep but it makes sense since it’s next to pier. Never waited longer than 10 mins to order.

The food is amazing. Ive had a few burritos and they were great. But the asada fries are are amazing. If your not in a rush its about a block away from the beach

Food was good, just watch out for the tables. Their not the steadiest ones out there, the tabletop fell on a littl boys foot.

Lots of Choices in meat. Flavor, flavor and more flavor. Love this place. Prices are reasonable, staff were friendly.

Santa Monica isn't very kid friendly at night as far as restaurants so we ended up eating here as they were one of the few fast food options open. The employees were friendly but some reason it was cash only. Luckily we had cash. We tried the potato taco and the chicken burrito. The taco was excellent but the burrito was just okay. The restaurant was also dirty when we went. Maybe it was a busy day and there were only 2 workers. When we left we also saw they had a B rating. We probably won't go there again.

Typical taqueria, there were a few people in front of me so figured it would be good and it was.
