We visited the lobby lounge for drinks and a snack and it was wonderful. The drinks were tasty and the food we ordered tuned out to be better than we expected.Vegetarian options: Some vegetarian selectionsParking: The valet is a bit pricy and street parking competes with beach parking during the day.Kid-friendliness: I would not bring kids hereWheelchair accessibility: This location is wheelchair accessible

Great location and beautiful. The toast was charred black and burnt, the steak was charred...black and burnt. the eggs are not fried enough. Too much white liquid egg.Simply unsatisfactory for these horrendous prices

It is a lovely room, comfortable seating at the table we asked for. Service was attentive. We both ordered eggs Benedict, with modifications. The eggs on both plates were not poached, but semi hard boiled. The waiter did not come to check on us until we were midway through the dish. I did tell him that the eggs were not poached and he said that they were, until I cut into them and he saw that they were not. We decided to continue eating them as they were. We would not return for brunch, but would try lunch/dinner.

The Terraza restaurant at Casa Del Mar is extraordinary. Every dish that we had was delicious and the service was supreme. Dining at Terraza is truly a memorable gustatory experience in the luxurious Casa Del Mar hotel and highly recommended.

We love this restaurant but last night it was horrible. First we were seated at a table (where Cath used to be), there were five us, the table was so far we would have had to write notes to each other. The hostess was wonderful and moved us. We could not get service no matter how many people we asked. Again, there were five of us. We asked three times for bread and butter, they finally brought us FOUR rolls (did I mention there were five of us?), no bread and butter plates, and no butter. Again, after our fourth time getting up, they brought the plates and butter, which was hard as a rock (not the black truffle butter they had on the menu). The water poured our (expensive) bottle of champagne incorrectly, not on the tilt, but dumped straight in the glass. The rest of the food was ok, but it will be a long time before we come there again, and we were coming regularly.

For the amount we had to spend on Christmas dinner, this experience should have been seamless. When we got to the restaurant, the hosts didn't acknowledge us and eventually said they would have to find a table for us (even though we had reservations). When we got seated, we were uncomfortably close to other tables. I have a food allergy and had to ask our server 5 times throughout the night what dishes I could eat and she did not know which ones would be okay for me. It seemed like there was no communication with the servers about the ingredients in the food. The food was good, but not worth the price. The ambience was beautiful and the plants hanging from the ceiling were impressive. I would come here for a drink, but would not dine here again.

We had to leave. Service was awful. They were not equipped to have Christmas dinner. It took half hour to get appetizer and the main course never came. The waiter even forgot to bring the bread. Awful experience.

Probably one of the worst dining experiences to date. We were here for the Christmas dinner service. For $125 per person you expect a certain level of service. To say our server was bad is an understatement. It took him over 30mins to take our order and completely forgot to submit our dinner order to the kitchen until we reminded him an hour after he took our order. He never checked on us so we had to grab any employee that was walking by to fill our water, ask for more butter as well as requesting spoons and knives. Now for the food. Not bad but underwhel

This was Christmas Brunch 2023. Service was extremely slow. our first course took almost an hour to arrive. Our waiter disappeared and we had to flag down who we could get. the food was quite good. it was just extremely expensive, particularly given the low service level. Maybe service would be better on a non-peak time, but they really should staff up to handle the bookings they take

My friend and I chose this place to have our annual Christmas lunch. The views of the beach and ocean are spectacular and the interior architecture and design pure elegance - especially decked out fur Christmas. Service was perfect, food delicious, and prices less than you would expect.

I enjoyed it, the view is beautiful and the service exceeded my expectations. We had a lot of fun, although I don’t think the food is something to go out of your way for. There was nothing wrong with it at all- I just think it was fairly pricey and not incredibly exceptional to a different restaurant- but the atmosphere and experience are worth the $.

Great ambiance and live music but on Friday December 8th, female singer took over 30 minute breaks after singing only one hour and lost her audience. Long breaks are not good for patrons or the hotel. 15 minute breaks and 45-60 minutes of live music makes more sense.

My friend recommended this place for brunch. We came in the day after Tropical Storm Hilary and the restaurant was almost empty from the warnings that schools closed and people stayed home. I'm sure on a normal day it is really crowded. We were seated next to the window where I could see the Santa Monica pier and the Ferris wheel.I ordered the White Egg Omlette (Tuscan Kale, mushrooms and tomatoes), and instead of egg whites I wanted regular eggs with yolks. The omlette was cooked perfectly and the kale, mushrooms and tomatoes were tasty. It came with potatoes, half a grilled tomato and bread (I chose English Muffin).Service was on point and it was a nice and relaxing brunch. I can see how this place gets super crowded on the weekends.
