Pier restaurant, pricey and average quality at best. Had a wagu cheeseburger but it was the missing thecheese. My wife had a fish taco which she said very little fish and was mostly cheap vegetables. I would not recommend this place - go off the pier and you will likely find better quality.

Please update your Google business hours! We made a trip down to Santa Monica 2 days ago on 11/12 just to eat here but it was closed with a sign that said “closed for company annual picnic and will reopen 11/13”. We went back again today (11/14) and it was still closed! This time with no notice or message. If you care about your customers, please don’t waste their time. Update your business hours and closures on Google or even post on your social media. We’re all the way from Singapore for this but we definitely won’t be trying our luck to eat here again

Great location, views and seaside ambience. I tried the famous chowder in a bread bowl, which was a meal in itself. Good wifi signal too.

Good service, but food is definitely mediocre. If you can, just travel off the boardwalk to eat.

Wonderful food, great atmosphere and stellar service all for a more than reasonable price. I ordered the Calamari, Shrimp and Chips and a strawberry lemonade. The Calamari was perfectly crispy and well seasoned, with great flavor. The same can be said of the Shrimp and Chips, with great flavor and well seasoned. The portions for both were an excellent value, well worth the price. The Strawberry Lemonade was very good as well. With all of that said, the service was truly exceptional. Steve greeted me with a smile when I walked in the door and answered any questions that I and other customers had, as well as ensuring customers got the most value from their experience. Steve was eager to help and go the extra mile, clearly taking pride in the work he does. Overall I had an excellent experience dining at The Albright, and will be back without a doubt the next time I'm in Santa Monica.

I got the spicy seafood soup after reading several good reviews on it. If you are expecting Korean seafood soup, this is not for you. The first bite tasted like jalapeño water. No authentic Korean soup is going to have cilantro and tomatoes in it. It was packed with seafood, which tasted really, really fresh, but the soup was not what I was expecting at all. There was no depth or savory flavor in the soup. The rice tasted like it was made out of instant rice box... Very disappointing, but I should've known to not expect authentic Korean taste at a non-Korean restaurant. My friends ordered fish and chips, which they said was good. Another friend ordered the lobster roll, and it was pretty underwhelming. I think you are paying for the experience though of eating right on the pier. It had a nice seating area and a great view. It was nice to go as a tourist, but I probably wouldn't go back for the food.

We had lunch at The Albright, and the food definitely matched the beautiful ocean view. The lobster was fresh and perfectly grilled, served with butter and a touch of lemon — simple but full of flavor. The clam chowder in the bread bowl was creamy and rich, though a bit too thick for my taste after it cooled down.

The atmosphere was lively and casual, perfect for a sunny afternoon by the pier. Service was friendly but a bit slow since it was busy, so expect to relax and enjoy the sea breeze while waiting.

Overall, it’s a great spot for seafood lovers — not fancy dining, but hearty coastal comfort food with a view that’s hard to beat.

Despite the size, lobster roll is filling with plentiful of fries, the bread is lightly toasted outside but soft inside.

Thumbs up to the service staff. Very hospitable, actually happy to refill my drink.

The food was okay, but I like how easy it is to get seated you just order at the counter, which saves time since you don’t have to wait for a server to take your order. The food came out pretty quickly too, which was nice.

I wouldn’t really recommend the Fish and Chips or the Combo Plate, as they didn’t taste very special. But I do recommend Ms. Kim’s Spicy Seafood Soup it was really flavorful and packed with seafood! Perfect for seafood lovers.
