The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf

Very rude staff order one coffee the cashier charge me for 2 coffees I told her I ordered just one (she didn’t even make it yet ) told me I have to wait 1/2 hour for the manager which is on break. I was with 2 kids and were late to bring kids to class . I told them to cancel the order and give me the money. Another employ told me to get out because he is going to get security . I left and bought the police and than they gave me my money back

I’m just trying to get to work. I know you don’t open until seven. I was waiting quietly at 6:58 only to be told rudely we’re not open. Yeah that’s why I’m sitting out here waiting. And then she decided to teach me a lesson by not opening the door for a few extra minutes after 7. The correct answer is we open shortly? I’ll be right with you. Thanks for waiting.

I ended up at Starbucks where I was treated like a human being that wasn’t a bother. I hate doing stuff like this but if you don’t wanna be there then don’t be there. I’m not expecting a rocket scientist too make me coffee in the morning, but I am expected to be treated like I’m not a piece of dog doo doo and maybe a good morning. Call me crazy but it’s what I do for my customers even when I’m having a bad day. It’s basic kindness. People appreciate it and my customers return.

My favorite Coffee Bean in all the Westside! The staff are kind, helpful and very welcoming. It makes you want to come back and that alone makes all the difference.

Really friendly staff (big shoutout to David) and a great place to get work done. I came in due to a flight delay and fueled up and worked for a few hours in the evening. Atmosphere is cozy too.

Too busy making avo toast and not serving customers in a line

Employees are not properly trained. The entire line had to wait for a 10-minute break so they could catch up on orders. It was a Monday afternoon. Not even a busy time for the Pier.

I wanted to come here to do work while drinking coffee and they blocked ALL of there charging ports! My computer was at 13% and I couldn’t even do work while here because they have no charging ports! What kind of coffee shop doesn’t offer them?!?!?!? NEVER coming back!

Also the cookies and cream is JUST WATER! With Oreos floating in it

We showed up at 8:23pm. They close at 9pm. Lights were dim, they had the chairs on top of the tables, and they were “out” of the 2 types of coffee we wanted. (Cold brew and hot coffee). Highly disappointed because the night before we showed up at 8:30pm and two different baristas made us our drinks with no hesitation.

Weak and tasteless espresso - $3,65 for a double shot. I used to like Coffee Bean, not anymore. The prices keep rising and the quality has fallen. It’s time to buy an espresso machine and enjoy my coffee at home
