Food poisoning! We came from Brazil on vacation to LA and we have been to The Lobster for lunch… Unfortunately I have to give the restaurant a bad review. Despite having good service, my mom, my partner and I got very sick right after eating at the restaurant. We had the black pasta with seafood and something was contaminated. It was a terrible experience that caused us many problems on our vacation trip. We had to cure ourselves with medicines from the pharmacy because everyone knows that using health services from another country can be even more problematic. I would recommend the restaurant to be more careful and check the storage and handling conditions of the food used in the dishes.

Beautiful lighting and great atmosphere, right next to Santa Monica BeachIf you come after six o'clock, you can still have dinner while watching the sunset.The oysters are a bit ordinary and can be skippedBut the lobster is delicious. It’s the first time I’ve tasted such a bouncy and tender lobster.Also recommend the garlic fries! ! It goes perfectly with lobster! !Parking: The parking lot next to it is suitable!

Great place to stop and get a cocktail and people watch from the balcony. I didn't get the bartenders name but she makes a mean Old Fashioned. And was so nice, and professional.

No need to broadcast that you guys are lgbtq+ friendly. I believe every business is and no one will not serve someone because they are gay. You guys get a low rating because of that political move. I will remove my rating, when you guys act like a normal business and do the right thing, rather suck up to a specific group of people.

I was contemplating where to position this restaurant on my lists, well, the food is good and very well presented, but I wouldn’t say it’s the best, besides the lobster Mac and cheese, that one is of the charts, I can’t deny.The hamachi crudo and yellowfin tartare were fresh, but the sauce on the yellowfin did not keep up with the dish.We ordered the lobster, that I would give it a 5, it’s the house specialty.The black chitarra pasta was good, but needed something in the sauce.Overall, it’s good food, but preserving those exquisite places, I am happy with the review I just did.If you’d like a nice sunset view, go for a table near the window.

It is a phenomenal experience with a wonderful waitress, Ms. CJ. The atmosphere was tranquil, and the cuisines were top notch. I appreciate the prompt services, and it was too difficult to leave such a beautiful restaurant. Hope you enjoy as much as my family did!
