We read good reviews and figured it was a safe bet to try it with our out of town guests before hitting the pier. But the food was underwhelming- the meat on the burgers were unseasoned, the bread for the burgers was cold and soft, the steak was gamey. Do not recommend. Hotel food with a hip ambiance.

Earlier that day, my daughter and I stopped in for a quick snack. The host told us that we needed a reservation because he was expecting all these reservations and may not have room. That wasn't true there was nobody in the restaurant. We sat at the table for at least 10 minutes before somebody acknowledged us. Later that night, I had reservations and was seated quickly. Our waitress was lovely, we ordered the Thanksgiving special. All of the food on the plate was cold. I was disappointed.

I hate chasing a server. Nothing annoys me more than a server who drops the food and disappears so you spend the entire meal chasing and looking out for help. Fish and chips awful, batter soggy like it been microwaved. Hanger steak like rubber. Appetiser dropped off at the same time as main, chevechi fish no flavour. Loved being seated next to the bathroom too.

I love the vibe in this restaurant! Very surfer chic. I ended up coming here two days in a row for brunch. I had the breakfast sandwich and the breakfast burrito. Both was solid. I would be interested in coming back to check out their dinner or happy hour menu

I wanted to love this place - it's really cute and conveniently located - but I just didn't. We ordered a range of food - the lobster roll, the poke bowl, a caesar salad - all were uninspired and lacking seasoning. The biggest problem, however, was the wait staff. After getting our food it was nearly impossible to get the attention of the server again. Not only is this a missed revenue opportunity for them, it's a poor customer experience. Our server was plenty nice when we talked to him, but he was overextended and it showed.

Loved the happy hour spritzes and Brussels sprouts. A wide variety of dinner options. We all had different entrees and everyone was very happy with their choice. Server was friendly and attentive, atmosphere was open and comfortable

We had such a wonderful experience thanks to our server, Jeff! Honestly, we thought he might be the owner because of how professional, kind, and knowledgeable he was. He made us feel so well taken care of the entire time. The food was very good, but Jeff really made the experience stand out. The restaurant is lucky to have him!

I walked in and they were setting the table at FOX, then I waited 20+ minutes after seating for a waiter/waitress. I said my friend who is coming to meet me it's her birthday and I'd be happy to indulge her. Two woman happily agreed. When they saw my date was a black woman they did not lift a finger at that point and no BDAY service was provided. Waste of time and would not recommend FOX to stay or eat no matter how desperate.
The ambience was a 10 but the food was just okay. Was disappointed. Kale salad was pretty great but the chips in the chips/guac were stale and the drinks just ok.

We had the pleasure of dining here for the first time, visiting all the way from Phoenix, and we were absolutely blown away! This is, without a doubt, the best place for brunch. The food was incredible, but what truly elevated our experience was our server, Jahir. He was simply amazing, attentive, friendly, and made our first visit feel truly special. If you're looking for a top-notch brunch with outstanding service, ask for Jahir! We can't wait to come back.
