Came because of Google reviews; very disappointed. Food was mediocre, there was no bartender available to make mixed drinks, and Service was a little bit slow.
One of us had the fish and chips which was very mediocre. The Frito Misto was subpar, two of us had the mussels which were just OK. Would probably not recommend going to this restaurant if someone asked me where to eat by the Pier.
But the decor was lovely!

Had a nice lunch here. Great atmosphere in downtown Santa Monica right by the pier and across from a parking structure. The restaurant has a nice, swanky, seaside vibe. I had the ceviche and fish tacos, both of which were very good. Would recommend.

This place was so cute! I loved the decor and swinging chairs. This was the perfect lunch spot - I sat at the bar! It was hard to decide what to order because there were soo many good options! I ordered the Cucumber Margarita, Kale Salad, and Hot Chicken Sandwich. I enjoyed all of my food and had the best Kale Salad I’ve ever had! I plan on revisiting The Surfing Fox the next time I’m in Santa Monica and would highly recommend it.

Lovely restaurant a few blocks from the pier with wonderful food, vibrant decor and friendly staff. Tip, park at the Santa Monica Place Mall and it is free parking and half a block walk if you park on the SW corner and walk down the stairs.

I think the secret might out on this place. Street corn focaccia was amazing. Spicy chicken sandwich too botch. Fish tacos really solid.
