We had a group of four women gathering before the Darryl Purpose concert at McCabe‘s across the street. We were seated right away and even though our reservation was for six people, two of our friends couldn't make it. The restaurant was OK with us only having four guests. We ordered a series of appetizers and bottles of wine. In order to make our wine selection, we needed to taste multiple wines and they were very patient with us in doing so . We had a lovely pre-party...
During this extreme weather, going to Upper West was our light at the end of a long, hot day.Everyone, from the host, server, even the executive chef made it their priority in making sure we had a wonderful experience and evening. I would give them 10 stars if it were available ! Kudos to a fabulous and caring establishment that put their clients first!!
We're always greeted cordially. The food and drinks are outstanding for the price. Ownership is generally present and always makes you feel a VIP. We supported Upper West during the pandemic and will continue to enjoy their great atmosphere...always a nice date nice place and very family friendly.
