What a find! I'm not in the habit of writing reviews but after a recent “Spaghetti Sunday” at The Georgian Room I find myself wanting to share this win. So rare to find a restaurant that delivers on both feel and flavor. Standouts were - (expertly executed) martini, crunchy/buttery/ herby garlic bread, perfectly punchy/ tangy/creamy + bright Caesar, made with crisp little gem lettuce, spaghetti and meatballs, just the kind you want - perfectly cooked pasta, straightforward meatballs in a traditional and tasty, comforting sauce. The service was top tier (warm and attentive). Such fun to be in room full of people enjoying delicious food together in a beautiful setting!

WOW! Great spot for an occasion.
The New York steak is the best piece of red meat I’ve ever eaten! I was also very impressed with the tuna tartare and the potatoes.
The live jazz musicians are extremely talented.

The Georgian Hotel lobby hosts the best bar that last minute desert or after dinner cocktail after a birthday meal. The door staff is fun and well cast for high energy and upbeat customer service. The chocolate sufleè is a must and the ambiance is classic with a touch of seaside whimsy.

The hostess had the worst attitude not only with us but with the people before us. I asked her for a table outside and she was like, you have to wait for that to be set up woth a big time attitude. I gave her a benefit of a doubt but, when my kids told me they are cold and I asked to be seated kindly inside instead, She almost rolled her eyes on me and was like “ wait I have to set up the table first” The attitude and negative energy ruined the whole experience. Food was ok and the waitress was unbelievably attentive and very kind.

For having not that great of a reviews on Google I thought this place was exceptionally delicious! Everything we ordered was full of flavor and my favorite thing here and I will always think about it for the rest of my life is the clam linguini. I am so impressed with all that we ordered... And we got a ton of food and drinks. I'm not sure if we actually ate at the real Georgian room or just the hotel area but either way I will have to be back. The vibes were immaculate, love the style of the place and server was super kind.

Don’t order a tea, the teapots are having stains on them, looks like, never washed, we send back the tea! There was not even a sorry
I never leave reviews — just check my profile.
But I had an exceptionally bad experience here with my family. The service was rude and painfully slow, and the food came out cold and undercooked.
Even setting the high prices aside, the experience was brutal.
The space is beautiful and the live music makes for a great ambience— but everything else falls short.
Very cool vipe... the food was great and the bartender, we called her sarah silverman, was amazing... the food was NOT over priced, for this ambiance. Everybody did a very good job...

First of all, the name of this restaurant is absolutely misleading: it’s “food” has no ties to either of two Georgias you may think of.
We came here because of a false prompt from the Russian Google page (which clearly just translated the name). The hostess was not able to explain the origin of the cuisine, and upon reading the menu we asked our waitress and she said that it was Italian. Oh no, it was not Italian in any sense! Everything was a hugely overpriced version of lowest class diner food, bland, heavy and unhealthy. What a shame! The interior was quite nice though, and the right chef (and more exciting menu) could definitely elevate the place.
One of the worst restaurant experiences EVER!
We stayed at The Georgian and made a last minute reservation at The Georgian Room. The restaurant itself was upscale and beautiful upon arrival, but the seating was pretty close to other tables. It was easy to hear the conversations of everyone around you. The food itself was great, and the prices were as expected. Cocktails were well prepared as well, however this is where they lost me with the price. $29 for a spicy margarita was pretty wild as someone who lives in California and is used to higher cocktail prices. I would recommend coming later in the night so you get to enjoy the piano playing throughout dinner.
Also, sorry, no pictures as you’re asked to keep your phone in your purse throughout your experience. This was a great reason to disconnect!
Pretentious and overpriced for mediocre food. The ambiance was nice, the piano was lovely everything else was horrible.
They stuffed six of us into a booth that was entirely too small. Our server either hated her job, hated us or was just trying too hard to be snobbish. The service was slow despite there being empty tables. The food was mediocre at best for the absurd prices and they charge extra for every little thing they possibly can. An additional cost for horseradish sauce (that was basically butter and hardly a hint of horseradish in it) to go with your $65 steak that comes with nothing else but some mushy garlic? Save your money (it will be lots of money) and go literally anywhere else.
II actually worked on the renovation of the restaurant. it looked amazing. but after actually sitting down and eating I have to say it was $900 I will never see again. $75 Corkage fee. It is supposed to be a steakhouse And steaks they have but extremely overpriced An average at best. it was an extreme overpriced disappointment. we purchased a bottle of wine at the restaurant which the wine prices are fair But our friends brought a bottle and they charged us $75 to open up a $50 bottle of wine And then we had to argue for 20 minutes to get it taken off the bill. It was my wife's birthday And the food is just average$200 a person You would think it would be beyond amazing. We only had the one bottle of wine that was $100 So it wasn't $900 for drinks it was $800 for so so food. They post all these pictures on the website on how amazing everything is But there are so many hidden charges it's very disappointing how they nickel and dime you for everything. You would think For a $100 steak, they would give you the side sauce for free But now they charge for literally everything including $12 for a piece of bread. There are so many great food options in Santa Monica That you would get twice the meal and half the price. The service was good the atmosphere was good the prices for an average meal were obscene. $900 For 4 people which did not include the tip. Since the waiter was good we obviously had to tip well So at the end of the night$1100 is a lot of money for an average dinner I could have bought a new iphone or a nice outfit for that kind of money. but if you have money to burn and don't care about the quality of the food This is the place for you. If you actually have to work hard for a living Didn't care about how you spend your money and what you get I would personally dine elsewhere
Solidly mediocre - steak is fine and salad/sides are fine, service was neither offensive nor excellent, interior is sexy but not amazing
BUT one reason I would return is for the banana bread pudding, and I might actually return just to get it. That was the best banana bread pudding I’ve ever had in my life jfc
