We got the burritos. Carnitas and the chicken and shrimp and we loved it. The corn was really good too. Def recommend. Will be getting again when we travel back to Cali.

It was empty and unfortunately they forgot my mom's cheesecake. They can't blame it on being busy. We were almost late for an event.

D'fuq, this was the worst food, not just mexican food but the worst food ever. I am so disappointed that this has Danny trejos name on it. The meat tasted foul and the rest of the food was bland. This is a disgrace to mexican food everywhere. I'd rather eat mcdonalds or taco bell.

Overall, my experience was good. Had tacos 1 carne asada, and the other chicken...sorry but the chicken was trash....I will eat there again, I just won't order chicken...

Food wasn't that great. The meat was pretty dried out and tough. The fresh veggies were none too fresh.
Atmosphere was odd, but we aren't from here, and not sure if they are all this way. That leads to the service. Nobody really seemed interested in helping us and when I asked a question, they shot each other looks. When I questioned something that was wrong, it was a pretty rude answer in return.
Not an F, but we won't be giving them another try.

I was excited to finally try this place because I was told that vegan options are available. I tried the young jackfruit and cauliflower tacos which were very tangy and tasted pretty much the same. The tacos came in a combination plate with a bowl (really a cup) half filled with beans and half filled with rice. I wasn’t really impressed. On the positive, the restaurant is located in a nice part of Santa Monica where you can go do some shopping or head down to the pier.

First time at this place. Expensive, the guy at the register not clean to work with food and No Salsa choices like great taco places have. Save your money to eat somewhere else

We really enjoyed our first experience at a Trejo's and would be happy to try another one closer to where we're staying. The burritos were huge and the Margaritas were pretty good too. Had to buy a T-shirt as a souvenir.
