Food: They used to have the BEST chocolate prunes. They still have GREAT Halva!
Service “iffy”. Depends on who’s there.
Atmosphere: Love the “Deco”.
Great selection of items! They have a lot of medicine and canned items. Try the Kievski tort if you want something authentic (it’s a Ukrainian-style cake that’s made with nuts and a little drier than American types). For all the people crying because it doesn’t only have Ukrainian products, most stores are Slavic stores with a mix from different countries. So no, you’re never going to find a store that’s only Ukrainian or only Russian because people in those regions eat similar things. Take your politics elsewhere instead of trying to bring down a small business with your narcissistic virtue signaling.
All the ppl complaining about the goods are brainwashed ppl. Don’t listen to them. The store is amazing and is exactly what’s needed on the west side because most of Slavic stores are in the valley.
Well, dear Ukrainians or ppl who just want to try some delicious ukrainian food please avoid this place because there is nothing ukrainian there, well ,maybe just Roshen candy lol and few spices, instead you will find terrible service from unhappy cashier, only russian or belarus products, almost empty shelves, calendars with russian kings, socks and other russian things which shouldn't be in product store at all,it looked like old small store in grandma village, smell is terrible there, smelled like toilet, from products were fish salted I guess but it didn't look good and the rest just cookies, candies oh yes,you can find Kvas there and dark bread that's it,very poor choice of products, waste of time and money. This place described as ukrainian, no, it is a huge lie,it is russian, very dissapointed,do not recommend at all!!!
So disappointed! It’s not Ukrainian store! It’s some kind of Soviet-Russian store! Service was terrible. When we asked about some Ukrainian meals the said “You should make it by yourself”. The service attitude was awful and no respect.
For anyone who wants to try Ukrainian food, cuisine and service I don’t recommend this store! You will not find Ukrainian food you’ll find only Russian!

This was my first and last time in this store! It seems like the 21st century, the location is wonderful, but the store itself seems to be stuck in a time loop between 1990! It's impossible to stay in the store because of the terrible stench! No parking ??

They have some great items from Moldova, Russia, Ukraine, Latvia, Lithuania. I found frozen sour cherries, oblepiha (buckthorn), bubliki, salo, mintai caviar and even pickled apples. They are a small business and to survive I guess they have to keep prices up. The same items can be found at other larger stores, but if you live in the area and don’t feel like sitting in traffic this store would do it. Dairy items (ryajenka, farmers cheese, butter, sladkie sirki) are always fresh. Atmosphere is relaxed, somehow reminds of USSR times. Also, they have a good variety of Russian OTC medications and face and hands lotions.

Products vary from visit to visit but are very good and more natural from European countries than regular grocery store products.
