Products vary from visit to visit but are very good and more natural from European countries than regular grocery store products.

Great small little store. Kind, wonderful owner, the selection of food is just right. Halva is so fresh! Tvorog is also very fresh. You can tell the owner takes great care of her inventory. The place is also super clean.

This is a Russian store with Russian souvenirs, you should be ashamed to call it Ukrainian, don't confuse people!

The store sells souvenirs that are not in Ukrainian traditions, but Russian. A matryoshka is Russian souvenir. This store is fake, and seller tries to earn money. Please, avoid this store.

Very often they sell expired or very close to expired goods

Wonderful selection of goods! Please do not let the negative reviews discourage you. I hope the store stays in business for many more years and generations to come.

I stopped in to buy some Ukrainian Easter bread, and was served by a very surly and rude blonde woman. When I tried to ask her if she had a few other Ukrainian items in the store, she just walked away. I would never go back to this place.

I'm just ashamed at the racist reviews bashing this business because the owner/workers speak Russian. I happen to know the owner and she couldn't be more Ukrainian. From Odesa to be exact. The store has many Ukrainian, Russian and Jewish choices for food. It is not an educated secret that their peoples have been sharing the same cuisines for much longer than either now country has existed. Ignorance speaks without knowing. To be mad because they speak Russian is such a type of speech. Many Ukrainians speak Russian. In some areas of Ukraine, Russian is only spoken. Unfortunately they have received the same type of discrimination there as I'm seeing in these one star reviews. America is a country full of immigrants and diversity. Many have fled from their homes for a better life. The nostalgia of home (no matter how good or bad) does not equal a support of one leaders choice. Nor should that come into matter when reviewing groceries. It is unheard of to post one star reviews for African American businesses because of their prior nationality or because they spoke Swahili in the store. They are not responsible for many of their African leaders committing genocide. I don't see how this is different attacking Ukrainian or even Russian Americans. The store is small, but has a decent selection of your average Ukrainian/Russian deli items. I always come here for my Alex salami, dadu ice cream, kifer, and many other items. A great place to come when your missing a taste of old home. This area has a large community of Russian and Ukrainians; many of which are tight knit and many of the customers here are those frequent faces who have been shopping here for years. After visiting the store several times, they too became warm to me. The store does have a slightly Soviet feel as do any of the other Slavic grocery stores/delis in the Los Angeles area. They are not owned or operated by the new generation. These workers and owners immigrated to America to work so their children could have a better life. I would not constitute a matrsyoshka of Putin as an outright support of him, but rather a nostalgic piece of history. It's a shame to read these reviews of attacks and hate in a land of acceptance, free speech, and equal opportunity.(I have reported the reviews and hopefully they will be removed soon)

Excellent selection of authentic Russian and Ukrainian goods. Fresh items. They even have authentic Kinder eggs on occasion! The staff is very friendly. Highly recommend.
