Held a surprise birthday party of 15 for my wife. The staff was most helpful throught the planning stages, and the dinner was wonderful. The staff was consistently helpful and attentive, and the food was wonderful. I love this restaurant, and it is my go to for Italian food when we're in LA. Highly recomended.

It's been a minute since we were here and our experience was even better than last time which was perfect. The house wines are wonderful and the experienced waiter had a huge station but he still was there for whatever we needed. We were dining with our 7 year old grandson this time and he was very excited from the start with his shirley temple. We loved the minnestrone soup on a cold rainy night and the moved on to the nightly specials that were incredible. The spaghetti with Veal meals was absolutely the best ever and the sanddabs in mustard sauce was delicate and tasty and all served with tons of sides. Even the bread and butter were spectacular and free when so many restaurants charge these days. The old fashioned desert cart is so much fun and all the deserts are perfect. Love the old world charm and dedication of the entire staff from the moment you enter. It can't get better than this!

We felt like we'd known the server years, present but not pushy, accommodating and efficient. The food was incredible. I'm not sure there's anything less than 10/10 on the menu. And then they brought out the dessert cart! My goodness! Desserts to die for and catering for all preferences. Only staying in LA a week, will be going back again before we leave!

We've been regular diners here for years and have always absolutely adored the intimate setting, the old school vibe, table side ceasar, delicious food, and great classic coctails. The restaurant was originally owned by a family for decades, they sold the restaurant to the most amazing new owners! The new owners kept the staff, the cooks, and the menu, but upgraded all the things that needed to upgraded. They are so sweet, warm, and friendly. We are so impressed with how the new owners made Vito that was already great, even better!
