The pie is overpriced, mediocre, and stale. Anyone who says they like the pie from here has gotta be lying

Don't pay attention to the bad reviews... the pies here are excellent. Order online and pick up, Postmates it, whatever... they're worth it. I always go with rhubarb, but have tried almost every pie here. They have the minis which are good if you do want to try a bunch.

I went to Winston Pie in Brentwood with the intention of ordering pies for a pick up 2 days later. The sales person said, you have to order on line we don't take orders in the store. So, while still In the store I started the ordering process, this was not easy. Finally, the sales person took over my phone and started to fumble her way through the order. She apologized and said " I know this is really complicated." Finally, she placed the online order and I left. Later, I realized I needed to cancel my order and order different pies. After reading through a mountain of information trying to find out how to cancel my original order, I couldn't do it and I gave up. No pie is worth this hassle. Next time it's Sweet Lady Jane where you can place an order either by phone or in the store.

I love this pie. I would eat it every day. But it is SO ANNOYING that you can't order at the counter in the moment when you want pie, and the only options are to preorder or pay for a doordash order. I just want to walk up and acquire a slice of pie when I'm craving pie, why is this so difficult?

Buyer beware from Postmates and from Winston Pies in Santa Monica! First let me say that the ginger turmeric latte that I ordered from Winston Pie's on Postmates this evening (7/19/22) was great: not too sweet, just the right amount of flavor. But the latte wasn't what inspired my order. I'm sharing two photos: one from the Postmates website that made me place my order for Winston's blueberry pie, the other, what Postmates delivered. Not wanting to judge a pie by its cover, I took a few bites of the burnt rubbery crust and chewed, wondering, can this be salvaged? I cut the pie in half and scooped a couple mouthfuls of filling, which was dry atop a soggy bottom crust. The answer was no. I threw it out. UPDATE: Postmates has the wrong address for the Santa Monica Winston Pie on their website, and the company asked me to contact them to make this right instead of writing this review, but then said they couldn't help since I ordered through Postmates, and Postmates won't do anything after 24 hours, so here is the review, with the corrected address.

My wife and I had a hankering for pie, so we put in an order to satisfy our craving. We arrived to realize our pie flight order was for the following day. Cameron was very kind and accommodating to fulfill our pie dreams. Hope the managers or owners see this review and acknowledge Cameron's top notch customer service. Oh, and the pie is tasty. I suggest the mixed berry crumble or the chocolate cowgirl. We will definitely comeback in the future.
