Delicious Oaxacan food and great service.
I stopped by Yagul Cafe and had my first ever Oaxacan latte, it was a very big cup, full of flavor and just the right amount of spice. Such a pleasant surprise! I wasn’t sure what to expect, but it was incredibly comforting and delicious.
Everyone at the cafe was so friendly and welcoming, which made the whole experience even better. I’ll definitely be coming back to try more of their menu!

Superb Oaxacan breakfast and one of the best iced matchas I’ve ever had. The drip coffee is so good a well. My partner and I will definitely be back. Great find in Santa Monica!

In A Nutshell:
-Yagul is a Oaxacan oasis.
-I found out about this place while exploring the neighborhood & noticed a lot of people popping in/out.
-Not only that the beautiful smell of Mexican food wafted into my nostrils, so I mentally bookmarked this spot.
-Not too long later, I came in for a nice breakfast.
-The Huevos Rancheros really hit the spot.
-The portion was not too big & everything tasted fresh, especially the beans & rice.
Overall, the service is very friendly & I liked the prices too.

Very expensive but completely worth it, the place is very nice and the food is delicious and the portions are huge... we bought an acaí bowl 8/10, some chilaquiles 10/10, an egg and bacon croissant 10/10 and a sandwich chicken, cheese and guacamole 10/10, a strawberry pineapple and apple smoothie 10/10, a passion fruit smoothie 8/10 but adding sugar made it better, a jack Daniels espresso and a hot chocolate that tasted a lot like cinnamon 10/10... it was 102usd for everything
