Used to love Amecis pizza. Not sure if it’s under new management and recipes have changed but wow. And not in a good way. Not enough sauce, not enough cheese or toppings. Hard and gritty with very little flavor. Makes me sad because I use to love this place and wouldn’t dare order anywhere else. I’m a big eater and use to eat an entire medium by myself and barely got through two slices and called it quits. ) :
Best pizza in town! The people who work here are so friendly and polite. I just cannot say enough about customer service.

Ordered meat lovers pizza which was delicious and the chicken ranch which was good, but the hot pastrami and mustard pizza was the BEST!! Order was ready when they said it would be and everyone was friendly. Definitely will be back.

Been ordering here for a few years, but I think I'm done giving the Santa Paula location money. The quality of the pizza has had a noticeable decline, as the dough is tougher and has more corn meal. The sauce is bland, and the pizzas arrive with less cheese and toppings each time.
We ordered 5 pizzas for a staff event today. When they arrived, roughly 20 minutes after the initial estimate from Slice, they were cold and hard. The crust was thin, dry, crunchy, and gritty with corn meal. The pies had so little cheese they were nearly translucent.
It's a shame. I regularly order from the Oxnard location and the quality is VASTLY different. The dough is thicker, chewy, with a solid sauce and enough cheese to get a little string action on a hot bite.
Not so at Santa Paula. You can tell they're cutting costs and have stopped caring about quality.
Save your money Santa Paula. Little Caesars is, what, two hundred feet away? I hate to say it, but your money is better spent there.

They have more than pizza. Their dishes are rad. Nice folks too. It’s a take out place. Wouldn’t plan on eating there unless you’re traveling or something.

Don’t ask for things added or removed. You get what they give you despite paying extra.
