The seafood soup “7 mares” didn’t have the crab legs like the picture in the menu, we ordered mango margaritas blended, got them on ice, was no flavor return one, I kept mine don’t like to complain, wife order a second one a plain lemon with Tajín, came in with no Tajín & no flavor, return it again order water instead , got the check with the two margarita we return, waitress said we taste it, thats why we got charged for them, it’s the second time we go there, sorry folk definitely not going back anymore period

Service was slow, no utensils, 20 minutes to get a glass of water, 2 out of three orders were served. Couldn’t flag down waiter so one of went to the kitchen to ask regarding the missing order! Remember the days when this was a popular place, but now I understand why there were so few people there during the lunch hour. So sad.

Im from Chapala Jalisco and wanted to try this place out, drove from San Fernando Valley. The food was so delicious, our desert was very good as-well also well put together tasty. But the only sad part was the waiter, didnt get one of my orders right going back n fourth about how the order was taken rude could even ask for anything like napkins he kept passing with a face that was annoyed, also didnt know how to prepare a special winner y drink also went back n fourth about the drinks. Rude service only bye that one waiter, and waitress that sat us at our table sweet and always checking on us. Asked for owner to make complaint, over all the food was very very good double thumbs up for the cook 👌👌🇲🇽

Excellent service. Friendly, helpful wait staff and hosts. The two meals we had last night were overly cheesy, and some of the grated cheese on top hadn't melted. That made for a pretty heavy feeling meal.

The food here was delicious! My family enjoyed! The enchiladas de res were perfect. Best enchiladas we've had in a long time! And the service was excellent. We really liked our waitress. We'd highly recommend!

This place is our Sunday delicacy. My wife and I try and not to go here to often because we do not want to get tired of it. Chapala has been consistently authentic and consistently great!!! I recommend everything in the menu!!!

The wet chicken burrito was excellent. The surprise was eating the soaked tortilla full of flavors and its texture was like drunken noodles.

The enchilada suizas are delicious.
