Just got back from the Santa Paula punch bowls stop by Dave’s place for a bite. Had the southern chicken avocado melt and fruit was great meal after the hike , friend said he loved the burger n sweet potato fries!

Chef David's one of the best little restaurants in the area, absolutely top-notch! It's a little hidden away gem just off Main Street in Santa Paula.What truly sets it apart is the fantastic menu with very creative but still down to earth dishes like, for example, a delightful caramelized onion and pear burger.And they also usually have some daily specials like really fantastic fish and chips on Fridays that are some of the best I've had in a long time.Unfortunately, the founder Chef David Raigoza recently passed, which left a big hole in the community in Santa Paula.But his great restaurant staff are carrying his torch, and my heart goes out to them. I hope David's legacy will, through them, keep delighting people for many years to come.

What a find, Chef Daves has absolutely fabulous burgers & while you get a few side options to pick from…. great steak fries! Prices are very reasonable, it’s worth going folks!! I’ll update my review as I go more often & try different items. A+
