Stopped in to get breakfast and wow so good! Really good coffee too. As a nice plus they played good music :) friendly attentive service. Would definitely go back and highly recommend if you’re in the area

My wife wanted to go have Mexican food. We got there at 6:30 on a Saturday evening and they were closed. On a Saturday night? These restaurants are complaining about the food trucks that are popping up around town. I don't feel sorry for them!

Terrible service! Don’t expect for your food to come fast and your orders to be correct.
The food is whatever. $20 for birria which is definitely not worth your money. $18 for chilaquiles and they don’t even taste good. The rice and beans are not good either. The breakfast torta doesn’t have flavor, and it takes about 40 mins to get the food.
They need a hostess, food runner, someone to check on customers and remove the plates, and someone to clean to tables when people leave.

The portions were huge and looked amazing, but honestly, the food needed more flavor. My husband liked his chile relleno plate (with rice and beans), but my birria and lengua tacos were dry, and we couldn't taste the chorizo or potatoes in the gordita. Service was great though.

I can not believe I am just visiting this place for the first time! It's seldom that I go to a restaurant and get the amazing customer service that we received here. All smiles from staff taking our orders to server to cook. The food was absolutely delicious. Very flavorful. Please continue to greet everyone that walks into your establishment as you greeted us. I have recommended your restaurant to many ever since! We will definitely be coming back for the great service and delicious food.

Dining here felt like being back in my family’s kitchen, surrounded by warmth, love, and incredible food. The staff was attentive and gracious. The flavors are authentic, the atmosphere is charming and inviting, and every dish tastes like that recipe passed on from generation to generation. It's more than a meal; it's an experience that reminds you of home. Highly recommend!

I was just finishing up some work in Santa Paula and decided to look for a good taco 🌮 place. Cocina 1912 had 4.9 stars on Yelp so I decided to stop there for a little snack before driving back to Los Angeles. This was some of the most delicious food I've eaten in quite some time. The quality comes through visually and taste wise.
I ordered taquitos and received hot freshly made tortillas and homemade red and avocado salsa. The chips were so crunchy and flavorful. The salsas were very delicious with the green being a little 🔥 as they indicated on the bottle. I ordered a trio of taquitos filled with chicken and beans. So so good! Seasoned chicken, crunchy taquitos and yummy beans. The next time I am working in Santa Paula, I will definitely be stopping by again. Can't wait to try something different on the menu! Sorry I ate the taquitos before snapping a photo 😆
