3000 miles to Philly.. I'm going to eat here!Been going to this place for years... family owned and operated, consistant, excellent quality.I always go with a cheesesteak bomb.. no onion, no sauce add Mayo. Coke light ice.. light salt on the fries. I mis the ranch and ketchup in a small cup...wowThey always deliver on flavor.. sure it's a bit pricier than the golden arches... but you get what you pay for and you know what to expect. Fresh vegetables and thinly sliced RIBEYE steak.Hands down the best cheesesteak in california.. and that says alot. Definitely Italy my #1 choice to splurge..Parking: Pick and go in a flash.. if you're having a picnic they will set you up with a box for all your goodies to easily carry... I love this place

Simply ordered a bombed cheese steak sub with a side order of fries and it was $27 dollar’s literally $30 and it wasn’t even that much more steak on top of it , mind u it was with out a drink as well . Never felt so robbed going out to eat in my entire life. this will definitely be my last time coming here

These were three friendliest people. I met the original owner and she was awesome. I remember a hoagie spot in Port Hueneme back in the 80's and it reminded me so much of this place. Well after telling the family, they said it was theirs back in the day. There's something about the atmosphere and I really enjoyed the food, family business and friendliness they all showed. I'll definitely go back. Oh, and the food? Just as good as I remembered it in the 80's, if not better.Parking: Not a big parking lot because it's in a strip mall, however we had no problem finding a spot.

This Place has down hill. Nothing compared to the past owners and the one in Port hueneme. Man were do i begin, first off their prices are wrong, they have a sign that said their prices have gone up .50-1$ due to inflation. I found a menu on Yelp and other sources that priced their sandwiches at 9$-10 tops. I show up, and there prices are $14.95. Secondly i call them out on it respectfully and the cook and cashier say that the menu is wrong that people take pictures of the menu and modify it themselves. Made no sense because the menu i saw , was the exact chock board. Thirdly i ask for pastrami and they didn't have it ready, that they still need go cut it. And lastly i get my order, and ask for peppers and jalapeños and they say they don't have any of that ether. Instead the cook says wait, goes behind counter and gives me a small bottle of tabasco sauce with like literally couple drops empty bottle basically , I'm sure he got bothered i was asking for stuff. Lastly, okay fine bump up prices, but if you're going to charge that much at least have peppers and be prepared , you know what time it opens and need to have it ready you're running a business. Disappointed. Don't even bother going, yet they give me a stack of napkins and the sub was smaller then footlong. Don't waste your money here, drive the extra 20min and go to the other location were they have everything.

The steak and the regular Italian subs are really tasty. A huuge factor is the tasty rolls that they use. Super friendly staff too. Oh and fries are bomb too.
