The DRAFT @ The Mupu Grill

I came in, peacefully had a drink, tried ordering another one shortly before closing but was denied for no apparent reason, than saw around of 6 or 7 drinks come out After my friends and I were denied. No last call, the server was amazing and very obviously embarrassed by the lack of professionalism from the manager.

I am a Santa Paula Native, I truly want to see business strive, a try my hardest to be supportive and I truly do not understand what just happened! Such low level of etiquette, it must be the simple fact that we are such a small town with almost no options, it makes the management feel this entitled. By the time I was rung up, I could have had at least another two rounds and still left long before several other patrons.

I don’t write reviews unless they are uplifting and positive but this was just not ok.

I have been a part of the hospitality industry for 32 years and going, I have been a part of management for a few places, including this one when it has just opened under Mupu grill, this one was uncalled for and worse, Everyone around me seems to agree this is they way they do business.

I wish you the best moving forward and I am more than happy to share some tips on how to run an organized, fair, efficient, adequate and professional bar, should you be open to it!

It’s a little too loud for me BUT the food is worth the volume! It’s been a long time since I finished a whole burger but their mushroom Swiss burger is perfection. They prepared it exactly as I asked, it was delicious, and they didn’t skimp on the toppings at all. The garlic fries were also delish! The service was IMPECCABLE too. They clearly all work together as a team and they do it well! I’ll def be back!!

Draft Mupu is one of those places where you feel taken care of the moment you walk in. The entire staff — from the servers to the bartenders to the kitchen crew — is consistently friendly, hardworking, and on point. They all deserve recognition for creating such a welcoming atmosphere.

But Emily truly stands out. She’s absolutely the best. She knows the menu to the T, always has great recommendations, and can carry a conversation that makes you feel like family. Her professionalism, warmth, and genuine personality make every visit special.

Huge appreciation to the whole team, with a special shoutout to Emily for going above and beyond every single time. Draft Mupu is lucky to have her!

The service was fantastic, asked for our drink orders, brought them promptly, waited until the rest of our party arrived and brought their drink order promptly, they then took our food order and we waited 15 minutes until our food order was delivered to the correct people. Very Happy overall. There were 8 of us

We love coming here for our sqturday meet ups, not too busy at noon on a Saturday, but if you do enjoy a crowd come later in the day. Good food, good people, tvs to watch your favorite sports team, claw machines for little ones and cold 🥶 mugs for an excellent beer on draft.

Hello everyone, The Draft has the most premium eats. Ver very impressive, I've eating most of their sandwiches, fries,onion rings, chicken wings, and chicken stripes. Well have never disappointed, this is a place that really invested in the bread, meats, ingredients and sauces. It's quality you can really taste. Believe me when I say this, because Im taking the time in writing wonderful things about sandwiches. Matter a fact I would love to have one right now..lol..
