This place deserves a rare 5 star review. Brought the family on Easter for lunch, extra comfortable atmosphere but tasteful and high quality. Food was surprising good, every element, all 4 lunches a hit, quantity and quality was great. Good specials menu which lured 2 of us to try special crab dishes (usually a bad idea) but the crab was local, super fresh, big portions. Actually, they only use local ingrediants and each plate's presentation was great. We were each convinced we had ordered the best dish on the menu. Service was great, we forced our server to recommend dishes and asked a ton of questions, he ended up way out on a limb then looked like a pro when each of us told him he was 100% right.

I had the buttermilk biscuits with country gravy and two eggs over easy. Couple of large rectangular biscuits and sausage gravy and some baby spinach on the plate. A substantial breakfast for only $17.Coffee was good too, not weak like that other Railroad Square breakfast place.

Farm to table, organic bliss. What could be better than a mimosa with fresh squeezed OJ, and Cobb salad with local produce? It is Angel the server!Try the Cobb salad with a poached egg instead of a hard boiled egg you might be pleasantly surprised.

Last minute decision to get brunch with a 5 month old, the menu had me questioning what I wanted to eat. The menu offered all-day breakfast and lunch options. I ordered the chiliquiles and was not disappointed. The waiter made great suggestions for beer on tap. Everyone was friendly, and the meal was delicious. Would definitely come back again.

Everyone was sweet and kind. The food was delicious I had the Florentine benidict and was very pleased with the portion. Overall the place was great choice for someone who was on a business trip needing a good breakfast.

Food quality didn't match the price. I had fried chicken which was very dry and tough. Note that there are 4% living wage surcharge applied to every bill and 20% service charge for parties of 6 or more.

Food was ok, they use way to much rosemary in the chicken fried chicken and most of it is breading and no chicken. The side of eggs is 6 bucks and they charge a family automatically 24% extra on top of the bill as a tip and still sneak in a tip request recommendation starting at another 20%. They want 44% of a bill to walk a 50 sq foot area to bring you food.Nothing about this place is American.

Nothing was seasoned. It was all mundane. I just felt like it was underwhelming. Service was great, even on a busy Sunday brunch.

I was excited to try this place and brought a group. A few people couldn't make it but the server plain ignored us, didn't check in or offer drinks while we waited. We had to flag him down. Then the food was just ok. Home fried potatoes had literally zero seasoning. Just deep fried potato cubes. No salt and pepper. Nothin. Got the Santa Rosa omelette and it was kinda dry. I was disappointed. Also had to find our server to pay. I won't go back or recommend it. Only thing I really liked was the slice of bread that came with my meal. That tasted fresh/homemade

This is such a fantastic breakfast spot, but it's not just the food that makes this breakfast spot a must-visit destination. Its prime location, within walking distance of Santa Rosa's eclectic attractions, makes it the perfect starting point for a day of exploration and adventure. The pancakes, a true testament to culinary craftsmanship, arrive at your table like fluffy clouds, adorned with a generous drizzle of maple syrup. Each bite has the perfect balance of sweetness and texture. But it's the chilaquiles that steal the show, each bite was bursting with a harmonious medley of spices and flavors. The homemade sauce was a total hit. But, let's not forget the breakfast burrito, a masterpiece of culinary ingenuity that is as visually stunning as it is delicious. Perfectly layered and full of different flavors in each bite. If you find yourself in Santa Rosa craving a breakfast experience that transcends the ordinary, look no further than this hidden gem. With its fluffy pancakes, flavorful chilaquiles, and beautifully layered breakfast burritos, it promises a morning feast that will linger in your memory long after the last bite.

Really great casual breakfast after fancy wine tasting all weekend. Hearty and delicious California food. My partner is grain free due to an allergy, and he had many options not just eggs and bacon like some other restaurants. Very gluten free friendly. Greens were super fresh, coffee nice, and I really enjoyed my pancakes with fresh fruit on top. We had a wonderful time and I would recommend to anyone.

The decor is rustic and understated, but the food stands out. The service was fine. I ordered a basic burger and fries. The fries were perfectly crisp on the outside and tender on the inside, and the flavor was better than expected, with flavor imparted from beef tallow. I appreciated the fact that they chose not to include the typically obligatory tomato because they are not in season. There is nothing worse than a rubbery, insipid tomato they put there just because. It was not missed, except as I miss all tomatoes this time of year. The lettuce was perfectly ripe, not wilted or bruised, but fresh and flavorful. The buns were soft, tasty, and toasted just the right amount. The homemade pickle on the side was tasty and fresh. The burger was cooked just as requested. There was no sauce on it, but I was provided a delightfully delicious ranch to dip my fries, (without asking) and there were homemade ketchup and jalapeño sauces on the table for me to enjoy. (I also tasted the blackberry syrup, which was a very nice sweet bite to end my meal) I would recommend this place for anyone looking for an uncomplicated bite to eat, where the food and the decor may be no-frills, but the taste comes through the quality ingredients and good decisions made in the kitchen. Sometimes it is easy to screw up simple dishes because there is nowhere to hide. In this case, there was nothing to hide. This was a perfect nostalgic rendition of a classic American favorite. Take your friends here rather than the tired old franchise diner that-shall-not-be-named.
