I only ordered a coffee, but this is a cute place with outside seating.

Decent coffee, no cold brew but espresso drinks were good. The burrito and croissant sandwich were fine but bland.

Kid-friendliness: High chairs and changing table

I checked “dine in”, but that didn’t happen. Aroma Roasters will sell you food then boot you out the door as you sit down to eat it because it’s closing time. Maybe that’s my bad even though most places will let you finish. The not-terribly-friendly employee suggested I use the tables and chairs outside. I thought I could live with that so I walked out the door and they immediately locked the door behind me. Then I see there are plenty of tables, but all the chairs are stacked up and chained to a pole. Needless to say, I won’t be back.

I haven’t been here in over a decade, when I was treated so poorly that I left (and ducked into an alleyway nearby to cry). True story. This place has a longstanding, terrible reputation for how they treat people.

Parking isn’t free. Just fyi.
We got the breakfast burrito with salsa on the side, a fig bar and coffee. The coffees were good, very good. But we were highly disappointed with the salsa for the burrito. It was basically hot sauce for us; it tasted good, just too spicy. Apparently that’s the only thing they cater as they don’t make it in house. We were handed some tapatio (“it’s less spicy” they said). What if we just aren’t people who eat spicy food? It kinda lost its charm learning they don’t make salsa nor the fig bar in house. I wonder if the burrito was made in house. Needless to say, it was hard to fully enjoy our meal. Burrito alone lacked flavor. The fig bar was okay, I liked that it wasn’t too sweet. Would be back for coffee, but for food, I’d rather go somewhere else.

This is my 3rd time coming here and the moment the clock strikes 5, everyone clears out like they are scared or something. It's very eerie. The cafe doesn't close until 6 and yet by 5:15 the place is dead. What's going to happen if I stay here until 6? Will I be yelled at? God forbid that people want to stay here and enjoy themselves. IDK what's going on here but whatever it is, it's not at all welcoming and I won't be coming back. You'd think the owner would care enough to rectify this odd culture.

I'll be sticking with my favorite cafe in Healdsburg where I'm welcome to stay up until closing

The Cremosa is the most soul healing, indulgent cappuccino ever - makes me happy to drink it :)

(They use half and half instead of 2% and it’s soooo good)

Also they have wonderful quality tea!

I love this place! I go here almost daily (aside from the really busy weeks in my life that prevent me from doing so.) the staff is very nice and remembers my name. I love the flavor of their espresso and often just drink it black. It’s rich and nutty. I tend to order sweets, and they sell my favorite cookies ever (from Paul’s Cookie company.) they also offer a great atmosphere for artists to thrive, like selling paintings, earrings, and mugs from local artists. It has been a lifesaver for my studying process, as I sit in there for three hours doing homework with no judgement or requests for me to leave. Shocked to see any even one lame review for them and whoever happened to do so, I would highly suggest they return with an open mind, because this spot is cool. It’s like being in the coffee shop from the sitcom Friend—just a great and comfy getaway from the outside world :)

I can only comment on the coffee, as I don’t live locally, but I have the coffee shipped to me on the east coast. We have a local coffee roaster, but A’roma is so superior in flavor, grind and aroma that I pay to have it shipped. My first thought in the morning is “yippee, I get to have Amanda’s Brew”, but the seasonal El Verona is equally superior, and I can vouch for the French Roast, as well. Do yourself a flavor favor, and visit the website or visit.
