Food was good, however service was lacking. All of the other tables around us received bread, I had to ask for some when we received our first course, and then it was baking, and took a very long time. Our section (the upper level) was very busy, so our server was overwhelmed. We ordered escargot, and some of the buttery sauce was spilled on my husband's arm, and the staff was more concerned about cleaning up the floor and didn't say anything about his shirt sleeve.

Our experience at Augie's was absolutely superb. The food is unparalleled, and the service is gracious and expedient in a way that makes you feel well taken care of. My husband is hearing impaired, so we opted for an earlier dining time to avoid the louder ambient noise that comes with a full restaurant, and that was a good choice for us. Augie's is, hands down, a restaurant experience that I highly recommend for any occasion!

We came for happy hour and it was great!! They had good deals for oysters, we got 1/2 dozen for $14! The drinks were also great, we loved the Kir Royale. The menu overall seems pretty pricey, and some of the descriptions are tricky to understand if you don’t know words in French, so be willing to ask your server or do some research.
The ambiance in here is great. It’s such a cute small place with really great furniture and decor. Would definitely recommend for a date night, or for a good spot to try some new foods!

I just heard about the restaurant and wanted to try out their food. I ended up standing at the entrance for at least 5 minutes while their servers were glancing at me but didn't entertain me or care to ask. I don't usually write a review let alone negative ones, but I'm very disappointed, and I'm never going back here.

Best happy hour in Santa Rosa. For the same price as a reheated pretzel with nacho cheese that you'll find at some nearby establishments, you can get freshly made, beautifully plated appetizers and HALF-OFF COCKTAILS at Augie's. And they offer complimentary bread with the best butter on Earth. The regular menu prices are also reasonable, and the service is super friendly and warm.
Recommended dishes: Herb & Gruyère Gougeres, Oeufs Mayonnaise, Warm Red Onion Tarte Tatin
The food was exceptional. The ambience was very nice. Overall the staff was attentive and friendly, except our server. Our server just seemed like they didn’t really want to be there. This individual was not friendly and not all that attentive. It wasn’t the worst service I’ve ever had, but also not the best. The service was definitely in contrast to the amazing food we got. I will be back, and hopefully will have a different server next time.
