Is this in Northern California Seaside fish house? No. Is it Scoma's on on Fisherman's Wharf? No. Is it located in a strip mall? yes. It's kind of like elevated Joe's Crab Shack except the food is actually good, the Crab and Seafood was excellent quality, and the service is even better. I usually like my crab and seafood seasonings somewhat mild so I can enjoy the taste of the fish, but they're seasoning rubs are 10/10.

I love this place, the food was absolutely delicious, the waitress that helped us was very quick and attentive. The price is pretty steep, but considering all the food that's given, I'd say its worth it 100%. I would recommend bringing your own gloves in addition to the ones provided, and to not bring clothes you don't wanna risk staining. Gloves, a bib, napkins, and a crab leg opener are provided.

My adopted daughter just came from the Texas City Tx location.She went to get crawfish and was only able to eat 2 because the crawfish tasted old or not cooked right. (She works at a very well known seafood place in Galveston and knows very well about fresh seafood). When she called the waitress over to let her know & if they can maybe cook it a little more or get her a fresher batch the waitress said all she can do for her is add more spices to her plate. Then the waitress brought the manager over and he belittled and got angry at my daughter and she was forced to pay for a full plate of crawfish that was not edible. This is so wrong in so many levels! They bullied my daughter into paying her $40 + ticket.

Great food & service. We had 8 highly social women in our group and this restaurant was super accommodating with great service & food!
Wow. so disappointed. It being Dungeoness crab season, you'd think a place called Bag o Crab would have fresh local crab, but noooo! Further, when I saw several seafood poboys on the menu, you'd think they'd easily swap out other seafood meat for crab. But no. "This is a national franchise", we were told. Only frozen crab from WA state here (this site was in No CA). That was enough for us to settle for a salad and the sugary-meat lunch special. My friend had frozen fish and chips. Overall the price and service and sports-bar ambience was ok. Will never recommend this place, unfortunately.

First let me say this is the second time eating here and the bag of seafood was good. I ordered yesterday at 3:19 PM and then was told my order was canceled & they weren't taking anymore orders without an explanation. I ordered today and my order was canceled. I tried ordering a second time and it worked only to notice 10 minutes after ordering the second time my first canceled order was being prepared. We ordered fried oysters and a salad. First off the salad was placed in the same container as the fried oysters. Not good because the salad was welted from the steam of the oysters. The oysters were battered with panko bread crumbs. Horrible. A cornmeal batter would have been better. The inside of the oysters were hollow and dry. I'm totally disappointed with the outcome and if I were dinning there I would have returned my order. The bagging is great and the salad may have been great if it wasn't packaged with the fried oysters. Next time I will dine in to get a full experience and the ability to ask questions about the food I'm paying for (not cheap) Also I'm taking this up with Ubereats regarding my orders being canceled and being placed. Good luck Guys.
