The day I went half the inside was reserved which was okay!! I was in the mood for a good beer and some food so we just stopped by. This place is hidden a bit. We walked in and you have to order your food and beer at the register then sit down, the beer was okay and the food was ehhh. I wouldn't come here to eat but maybe if I wanted a quick beer. Everyone was very nice and answered all our questions. Like I said I'd come back if I was nearby and just wanted a quick beer and then leave. The vibe was definitely very calm and quiet

Great place. Enjoyed the beer and the food. Definitely coming back. If you haven't been here you should make your way there.

Beers were...ehh. I asked the beer tender what was on the loaded nachos. She told me nacho cheese and everything that loaded stuff should come with...ok...The food goes with the character of the place- only a possum would love it...The nachos were cold and had no meat on it...for $16?

One of the best up-and-coming breweries in Northern California. Brewery itself is great. Good selection of very drinkable beers and a lot you can buy cans for. We've had them once before when in Santa Rosa and look forward to when they will be available all over.Brewery is really nice - kid and dog friendly (yes, we did have the people with the screaming kids next to us - people who do not understand other people exist in the world and don't want to hear your screaming kids the whole time we're trying to enjoy some beers - but that's not the brewery's fault - just be aware - if you don't want to be around screaming kids and parents who just let their kids go - this is not the place for you).Any place that lets dogs in is going to a good place. They have games here too and of course we left with shirts and hoodies.Support this place. With a lot of the breweries in the area closing down, it's good this place is thriving and hopefully will grow. It seems like Henhouse (who we also love) has really taken over the area but there's plenty of room for another great brewery. Also, if there's a beer you want to take home that they don't can, they will bottle some for you right there. That is awesome!! We of course took advantage of this - love it.

Dreeted nicely as I walked in the door. They had a triple IPA that I am fond of. I arrived just in time for the World Baseball Championship. Bartender was kind enough to set the channel for me. They also have a nice selection for food. I had the happy hour tostadas.

So much fun and great beer. Don't miss trivia night! Menu is changing but we enjoyed our burgers and fries.

Such a great spot to get BBQ. The ribs and the brisket are top notch. Not to mention the sides were amazing as well. Definitely coming back to this spot.

Faron's has been around town for some time, used to be in Penngrove and is now in Santa Rosa inside the Old Possum Brewery Co. I heard about this spot through my hubby's colleague who tried Faron's years ago and raved about how good it was. We looked them up and found out they're still in business at a different location. We came a few weeks ago on a rainy Monday night. We called in advance but no one picked up but thought we would try our luck by going there. Once we entered, we were greeted by the bartender and she helped us order our take out. The menu is small but consists of your choice of meats and sides. There are a few speciality items such as hush puppies, jambalaya, etc. We ordered a bbq chicken plate with potato salad/rice/beans and the bbq smoked briskets with angel hair Mac & cheese and string beans. Comes with sides of corn bread which is MUST TRY. The wait was only about 15 mins which wasn't long but worth the wait!! The meats were delicious, bbq taste throughly. Sides were delicious. It's hard to find a spot around town that does good bbq (the bbq spot used to but closed) but I'm happy to report Faron's got it. I'm looking forward to coming back soon! I love hole in the wall spots and hope the word gets out because Faron's is bomb and everyone should give them a try!

Amazing authentic New Orleans food. Killer Jambalaya, much more of a rice dish rather than soup. Had to wait a little bit because of large party. Chef sent out hush puppies. Later got to meet him and try his grandma's cornbread recipe. Enjoyed a great selection of beers. Nice to have and great brewery paired with a great chef. Wish I lived closer. I would be back sooner!

The Chef served us our dinner and came out later to find out how we'd loved our meal. What service! Delicious family recipes with tang, spice, flavor and moisture. We'll be back, and recommend you try OPB asap!

Our bartender was awesome. She understood our requests and found us the perfect beers. Our beers were great. We ordered food and she said the chef would be back in a couple minutes and we said we were fine. 30 minutes later she told us he would be back in three minutes. Really? We almost left. Then the food finally came. It was "fine." The ribs were delicious but they weren't Cajun. She said the chef was making the Mac and cheese but clearly if it is made with angel hair pasta, and he left for a half hour, that was over cooked, lol. So no max and cheese. We had the potato salad and it was Costco. We had the beans and rice and it was fine also not spicy. The ribs were delicious but also sweet, not Cajun. Sadly, the bartender stepped out for "a few minutes" and once my husband could get the attention of the guy behind the bar to ask for hot sauce, I was done eating. They had Tabasco and Crystal, so we chose the latter. I'd have loved to have a Louisiana styled hot sauce, like Franks Red Hot but of the bites I ate of my husband's with the Crystal made all the difference (at least the beans and ribs). All in all, I'm a happy girl. I'll go back for the beer for sure. If we eat, I'll bring my own hot sauce, haha. Three ribs and two sides $25. Happy hour beers were about $5 each.

This place is a hidden gem. Wanted to find a brewery to take my husband to that had a kitchen, and when I saw the menu had BBQ, it was a done deal. Super cool vibes, inside and outside seating, TVs to watch sports, and has regular events going on (live music, comedy, trivia night, etc.) Will have to come back! Plenty of beers on tap and bottled to take home. Wish I wasn't DD so I could've tried a sour. Husband was quite happy with his selection of IPA. Faron delivers with his BBQ - don't think I've ever had BBQ this good and unique. Ribs and cornbread were perfection. The Texas toast was the perfect thing to dip in the spicy baked beans. I didn't know green beans could taste good! What was really unique was the Angel hair Mac and cheese, and the Cajun grilled cheese with bacon, blackened. Who knew glorified burnt toast could taste so good and so right?!

Three words: Food. Food. Food. This food was AMAZING! The cornbread was the best I have ever tasted. BBQ Chicken. Beans & Rice. Angel Hair Mac'n Cheese. GOD LIKE. The grilled cheese should be in the Smithsonian or the Louver as a timeless work of art. We had ZERO expectations for this venue - we went because it was the only brewery open at lunch time in Santa Rosa. GO HERE!!!! EAT!!!! Your tongue and tummy will love you forever. (if you're lucky as we were...the chef will come out and make sure you meal is good) - so awesome. Hooked for LIFE. Long live OPB!

I travel often for work, so look for local breweries to try out. Was really excited to visit this place. The food menu online looked awesome. Jambalaya and a porter. Perfection. Alas, the normal food truck was out for a few weeks. The replacement offering was mediocre at best. ( 3 over done ribs, ( no bark, just chared) and soggy fries.) I only ate it because I was hungry and spent my per diem for the day. The pit falls of a business expense account. 5 stars for the Beer, 1 Star for the food.

A total hidden gym with a rotating kitchen. Great food , great beer and super great staff. Oh and a great outside patio.
